It’s Monty Python meets Old Harry’s Game - a spectacular, gorgeously produced, scored and performed comedy drama. Dialogue is witty and characters are distinct and charismatic, as we’ve come to expect from head writer David K. Barnes. Plus it’s queer (sapphic!) and seasoned with satire. A cathartic, joyful listen for anyone living in the chaos of 2023 or the fall of the Roman Republic.

Much anticipated and well worth the wait!!! The RQ/David K Barnes crossover of my dreams. If you love political shenanigans, the humorous style of Wooden Overcoats, and just glorious production quality (or if you’re just a Roman history nerd)… this is well worth the listen, doubtlessly will only get better as more episodes drop over the summer! Can’t wait to enjoy watch these characters terrorize the everloving hell out of each other!(and for the shipper-brained out there like myself: there’s looooots of potential…)Side note, another BANGER of a theme tune from Sam Jones on this one. He does all of the RQ original themes and it really sets such a fun campy tone here.
