Great start to the season! Really spooky with great characters!

I'm having a great time with this show. Listening to the sibling banter makes me feel like I'm with them as they reconnect and we get more of the back story about their father. The format of a radio show is done well, with just enough off air time. But I really like the places and things they're exploring. We all have local stories about strange things. This is done in a way that makes you feel like they could be investigating your local weird thing next.

A really fun new AD on cryptids. The brother sister team is great and I really like the almost real feel the show has. For something so new it is showing tons of promise. I am very much looking forward to seeing this show grow and to learn more about where the story is going. For sure something I am going to be sticking with.

Am bemused by the ending of Episode 3 where a person disappears under terrible circumstances but the two siblings treat their own encounter as a life affirming adrenaline rush? There's such a strange disconnect in the writing that folds a callousness toward other people's lives in with a more sympathetic story of two siblings reconnecting and embracing their father's legacy. So weird.

I'm pretty new to audio fiction, so I don't have a ton of stuff to compare this to, but Cryptic feels very solidly polished and the acting is on point. A few episodes in and I was legitimately creeped out -- sound design definitely helped to build a very spooky vibe! Check it out if you want a creepy story that is also a tale of siblings and family!

A bro and sis investigate local Ohio lore! The paranormal investigations feel fresh through the eyes of the seasoned siblings, and I can’t wait to figure out more about their father’s legend and the supernatural happenings of this rural setting.

A fresh take on the genre, with great sound design and overall production value. The dynamic between the siblings ads an interesting layer to the story, and I´m looking forward to hear more.

I must admit a weakness for monster horror, nonetheless this show has impressed me with its characterization and sound design. Speaking of sound design, listen with earbuds or headphones to get the full and impressive experience. Pay particular attention to Episode 5, the creepiest and best sounding one I've yet listened to. The interplay between Cole, Julie, and Chuck leaves plenty of opportunity for unforced humor, something that sets this series apart from others in this genre. Listen and enjoy.

What a phenomenal little pod. Great editing, great acting, great writing, a truly immersive, interesting, and understandable piece of audio fiction.

I used to live in Ohio (several areas) and Cryptic really brings back a lot of memories. The podcast is excellent. It hits all the right areas: an engaging story, outstanding voice talent, and excellent production. This one is a winner!
