My friend Jeff Echols has undertaken a really exceptional project called the “Coffee A Day Initiative.” #CoffeeADay A few years ago, Jeff found himself unemployed and decided to make use of all that free time by spending part of every day having a cup of coffee with someone new. He’s met a fascinating group of people over those ensuing years. I am always interested to see who he’s met, and it was my challenge to him (as well as a challenge by another of his friends) that got him motivated to consider turning those meetings into recorded events posted as podcasts. The truth is, I was jealous that I wasn’t able to be a fly on the wall. I’m sure that some really helpful, challenging and supportive things were shared at those meetings. I wanted to hear what went down, so I challenged him to get rolling with recording those meets. Our conversation was his first run with his new equipment.
