In this episode, learn a little bit about the science of your body as an athlete. Equipped with a master's in exercise physiology, Colleen Gulick is a top contender in next year's fixed-gear racing season. This year alone she has won two national championships and five medals overall, including a historical silver medal win in the Pan American track cycling championships in Mexico earlier this month. Gulick and her teammate Christina birch are the first ever U.S. women to win a medal in this race. Learn more about Gulick's training regimen, her plans to race RedHook and how she mixes engineering, physiology and instinct to create a riding style all her own.
