My name is Cory Crosby. I am a business owner, entrepreneur, writer and co-author of a weekly business column in the biggest newspaper in my town, community leader, father, and a convicted felon. In 2016 I was released from prison after serving 8 1/2 years for an armed robbery I committed when I was 19. During my incarceration, I discovered that struggle and failure are two of the necessary key ingredients in obtaining success. I discovered fitness, which allowed me to realize that no one in this world was capable of placing limits on me but me. I went from out shape and obese to being one of the fittest inmates in the department of corrections, and eventually the facilitator of the first inmate designed and ran fitness classes behind bars. When I wasn't working out or training others, I was studying business and preparing to rightfully take what was mine upon once those bob wired gates opened. From the time of my release to now I went from being homeless to one of the most recognized entrepreneurs and persons in my city. I created Da Real Plug Podcast to share with others my own personal life and business experiences as well as those of many others while providing you with some dope ass music from some real artists who are on the way. You'll get a chance to hear some real knowledge being dropped from every walk of life all various places in there journey to the top, and from some who are at the top; hustlers, entrepreneurs, CEO's, politicians, millionaires and more!
