You feel good when you feel validated. But the trouble is, you tend to look outside yourself for that validation. That leaves you wide open.
In less than 2 minutes, Rob explains why and what to do about it.
Transcript:
You do NOT need to wait until someone else thinks you're OK
YOU decide if you're OK, if you're good, if you're worth listening to.
Try not to insist on being validated by others
Their opinion, after all, may be flawed
or they might be
projecting their inadequacies onto you
Is that something you really want?
Validate yourself.
Tell yourself, "I know what I'm doing, I'm good at what I do,
I'll put my best ideas forward.
Whether my client likes them or not
is up to them.
Regardless, It's good.
I believe it.
Of course, listen to feedback, but
in the end
the only person who should validate you
is You.
So, go ahead....
validate yourself.
