South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Next, Sunday, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 91. Hazardous Weather Outlook. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas. Day one. Today and Tonight. Isolated thunderstorms are possible this morning into the early afternoon hours, mostly across North and East Texas. Lightning would be the main hazard with this activity. Late this afternoon and evening, widespread thunderstorms are expected to affect the area as they spread in from the north. A threat for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will exist across North Texas through the evening hours, with localized flooding possible as well. Primarily a strong wind threat is expected as activity shifts south of I-20 tonight, with a continued potential for heavy rainfall and flash flooding lingering into the pre-dawn hours on Monday. Days two through seven. Monday through Saturday. Additional thunderstorms are possible on Monday, although the coverage of storms will depend on how widespread activity is on Sunday night. A threat for strong storms and additional heavy rainfall could exist through the day. Lower thunderstorm chances will continue through the rest of the week, mostly during the afternoon and evening hours each day. The greatest chances will be along and east of I-35. Spotter information statement. Spotter activation may be requested late this afternoon through tonight, especially along and north of the I-20 corridor.
