I was talking to a friend recently who told me they wanted to start a Youtube channel. But they were concerned about having the right gear and they wanted to audio/video quality to be perfect. I encouraged them not to worry about the quality, but to focus on putting out content consistently. It’s been several months now and this person still hasn’t published a video…I understand the desire to create the perfect product. But if the desire for perfection is preventing you from even starting, then what is the difference between perfectionism and procrastination? If you plan and plan and plan, without ever actually producing anything, then you’re not going to get anywhere. No matter how hard we try, our projects will never be perfect. It’s just not possible. So rather than striving for perfection, I think it’s much more important to seek improvement and iteration. If you have a project you’ve been wanting to work on, just do it already.SIGN UP FOR THE NEWSLETTERhttp://eepurl.com/cOpm4DConnect with Me:YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/c/danbullmanphotography/INSTAGRAM: @danbullmanFACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/danbullmanphotography/MEDIUM: https://medium.com/@danbullmanphotographyWEBSITE: http://danbullman.com/TWITTER: @danbullman
