India-Jewel Jackson is a technology content strategist based in Amsterdam. India and I have been good friends for more than a decade -- we first met when I interviewed with her for a job at the digital media company where she was working at the time (spoiler alert: I didn't get the job, but we hit it off right away and have been friends ever since!). Before India expatriated to Munich in 2017 -- later Berlin and now Amsterdam -- she was a beauty and style director in New York and launched the branded content studios at Hearst.
