Happiness. Such a simple word that many of us spend our life trying to find. As children we typically have exuberant happiness. We find joy in the small details, take time to smell the flowers, and laugh at our mistakes. And yet as we progress in our journey that happiness that we once had typically finds its way out of us. Struggle, disappointment, hardship, and sickness tend to beat that carefree happy nature out of us. And yet if we can find those moments to laugh, those moments to be cheerful, and those moments to be happy we will be better equipped to handle difficulty as it crosses our path. We will be better able to not just endure the journey, but we will truly be able to enjoy our journey.
