The King of Mojo, Joe R. Lansdale is a multiple award-winning author (including 11 Bram Stoker awards), screenwriter international Martial Arts Hall of Fame founder of Shen Chua. Lansdale writes across many genres such as horror, science fiction, suspense, mystery and western. His highly acclaimed Hap and Leonard series was made into a successful television series staring James Purefoy and the late Michael K. Williams. 

In this conversation, Lansdale and I discuss where he gets his writing mojo from, how he developed his approach to over the top writing themes that work, his newest collection Hap and Leonard stories, Born For Trouble, and some exciting potential film developments we can all look forward to.
