Press Release
SAN DIEGO (November 25, 2019) – Data Driven Shipping announces the relaunch of datadrivenshipping.com, a website dedicated to finding broker data easily. Based on publicly available information and using GPS technology, the website provides contact information for brokers and agents closest to the user’s location.
Since a large percentage of freight brokers and agents do not use load boards to solicit carriers, the website allows trucking companies to make contact directly with brokers and agents wherever they find themselves. The platform allows users to get on approved carrier lists and easily build an expanded list of freight brokers and agents for whom they can haul.
At the price point of only $10 a month for unlimited lookups, Data Driven Shipping's service is affordable for the masses and is designed with smaller carriers in mind.
Data Driven Shipping founder Douglas Hayden, a former freight broker, developed the website to help link smaller carriers with as many brokers as possible in a simple, easy to use way. “Our site is the simplest way to start a conversation and make a connection with a freight broker or agent,” said Mr. Hayden, “Users get the information instantly on their phone, tablet or computer.”
In building the website, Mr. Hayden looked to the top ranked university in his back yard – University of California San Diego (UCSD). The technology behind datadrivenshipping.com was developed by a UCSD Computer Science student.
