The dating landscape has changed dramatically over the last few decades. The development of technology has allowed us to open up the dating pool and meet via apps rather than in person. We’ve become so accustomed to seeing people’s faces on apps we often assume a narrative about them even before we speak to them. It’s natural to judge a book by its cover but has this ultimately prevented us from meeting the ‘one’. We sat down with Nikita Kanda to talk about first impressions and making assumptions about people when dating.
