International Justice Mission has spent over 20 years on the front lines fighting some of the worst forms of slavery and violence in Africa, Latin America, South Asia and Southeast Asia. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors and strengthen justice systems.
Today on Connections we're joined by Linda Yang. Linda practiced law for three years in Vancouver and then resigned from her associate position at a national law firm, and in 2018, she began her two years as a Legal Fellow with the Cebu, Philippines IJM Field Office which combats online sexual exploitation of children. During her time in the Philippines, she assisted a legal team of five Filipinas in their work.
