The party may have taken charisma as their dump stat, but the players didn’t! There are mysterious set up episode one that continue into episode two. Where this adventure is going, who knows! But you won’t want to miss it. Take a listen to this fun and inclusive cast of aces to see what lays ahead!
Deck of Many AcesThank you so much for this lovely review!! We hope you enjoy the rest of the adventure! x
They have more than one Ace up their sleeves! The GM of this story does a great job at building the feeling and flow of the world very quickly. From the trailer to the story taking off from Cat Girl City the GM spins a fantastical world around the players. The players are quick to step in and joke about with one another, you can tell right off the bat that they are comfortable playing with one another and the chemistry is going to lead to some pretty funny moments to come. The GM does not take much time to bounce them right into the main tale and the accompanying music does a great job giving the world a gentle feeling as they get ready to jump out there and begin investigating the strange and mysterious magical phenomenon around the land. Definitely give this great paced fantasy tale a go, especially if you're in the mood for adventurers investigating the unknown!
Deck of Many AcesThanks so much for your review!! We're so pleased you enjoyed the podcast. Thanks so much for listening x
Antics, flexible morals and creative fun! The adventures of Toz, Delphi, Morgan and Raina unfold in a well-drawn world with its own pantheon and its own problems. The podcast a long-arc plot with plenty of battles, twists and big reveals along the way and flavours of fantasy, steampunk, murder mystery and sci-fi. But it's the characters that keep me coming back: I am in love with the Tall Girls and the wonderful, weird NPCs that cross their path and they had better NOT get themselves killed before I find out what's happening with Delphi. ರ_ರIt's dedicated storytelling by 5 talented voice actors, all held together by some serious role play that gives me sniffles. As someone who doesn't play DND the story is fun and easy to follow, and it's great to hear players battling with DM over what will happen next. Chaotic process but it seems to work!
Deck of Many AcesThanks so much for the kind review! As for not killing the PCs....... no promises ;) Thanks for your dedicated listenership, we really appreciate it x
This is, without exaggeration, the best podcast I’ve ever listened to in my life; the beginning-of-episode banter is always hilarious, and the actual play is no less so - except, of course, when it’s breaking your heart instead. The cast’s laughter is infectuous, the roleplaying captivating, the setting verisimilitudinous, the music beautiful, the dramaturgy deep. If you want to cackle about chariots and be bought to the edge of tears by a discussion of architecture, this is the podcast for you. Also worthy of praise is the DM’s scrupulous approach to content warnings and safety tools, as well as the top-notch queer representation amongst the NPCs as well as the PCs. I know for a fact that the DM of a campaign I’m playing in has been influenced by this podcast, and the campaign is better for it.In conclusion, this podcast is very good and you should listen to it.
Deck of Many AcesWow, thank you so much for your kind words!! We're so glad you've enjoyed the podcast, from the serious moments to the stupid banter! Also, you've totally made Ellie's day with the dramaturgy complim…
This is the best DnD podcast i've every listened. I'm 13 and live in Australia, this is the only DnD podcast i've listened to and haven't stopped listening at like the 3rd episodes, instead i've listened to over 30 hours in less than a week. The plot is so interesting I'm hooked and the players are all so nice, i just wish i was playing with you. I'm aromantic and asexual and am so happy to find a fam friendly podcast with a aro and/or asexual cast. Amazing if i could give it more stars i would.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
