Josh Basile, at the age of eighteen, sustained a life changing catastrophic injury when a wave threw him over his boogie board, shattering his neck and damaging C4-5 of his spinal cord, changing his life and causing him to be classified as a quadriplegic.

Josh views his disability as his superpower which lead him to become an attorney, proactive disability rights advocate and mentor.

Josh’s superpowers lead him to start the 501(c)3 spinalpedia.com which empowers newly injured families through its 20,000 paralysis-related videos and growing.
