Traumatic, disabling musculoskeletal injuries or spinal cord injury that result in paralysis are both life altering experiences. No doubt about it. We don’t see it coming. No matter how it happened it is our worst nightmare. Once the initial shock and life threatening health status is behind us, each of us has the power to choose how we respond to the adversity.
