Salam guys and welcome to Desert Eyes! This podcast is supposed to be a safe place for me and all those who are listening to it. Especially for BIPOCs and even more so for women. I want to use this platform to address important issues, which in my opinion are neither often enough nor well enough discussed. This includes topics like racism, sexism and the daily struggles of diaspora people. My name is Mona Ibrahim and I study Middle Eastern Studies in Hamburg. I just turned 23.
