Even when we are faithless, God is faithful. In Romans 2, Paul stripped away the layers of Jewish delusion. He’s confronting these sacred cows that they relied on for their salvation. He’s been building a case to show us that true righteousness is a matter of the heart. It’s a heart that turns from sin and believes the gospel and receives his righteousness from God. God’s promises endure despite our shortcomings, inviting us to respond to His grace with repentance and faith. We're called to fix our eyes on Jesus, the source of our salvation and the embodiment of God's unfailing love. Nothing can stop the faithfulness of God.
