Greetings listeners!

Another year, another Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley. We run through a majority of the headlines from the main show and pick a handful to focus on and offer our thoughts on the overall feel of the show after Geoff reminded everyone to keep their expectations in check last week.

We also touch on some other news this week including the lay-offs at BioWare, the recent Destiny 2 Showcase for The Final Shape and beyond, before finishing up on the most shocking news of the week with Charles Martinet winding down his time voicing Mario and stepping into a new ambassador role.
