The Call for Heroes!Take up arms dear Travellers, for the heroes are being beckoned to this small town! The first thing that struck me that I really enjoyed when hopping into this story was how Goblins were being integrated into the town and they were working together and it wasn't just goblins raiding and kill more goblins. It was a nice refreshing start to having them be accepted for the most part into society. This podcast starts off giving you a great feel for the characters, right away you can grasp their personalities as the players start dipping into the immersion. The side chatter is kept to a fair minimum and the story takes priority as they waltz into this tale, which is something I enjoy. The quality starts off at a decent place with great sound and music added in to immerse you. They have some minor issues with one mic but don't let this dissuade you because their quality jumps significantly in later episodes. A great thing about this cast is their dedication to stay in character. You can feel that they are all very much invested in the game and give the DM a good amount of material to work with and bounce back on. If you're in the mood for some great high fantasy tales in the Pathfinder system and you want to hear more than just your average goblin slaying, then give these fine people a listen!
