Did we just become best friends
0:39
, francesca Fields ? Yes
0:42
, I think by the time
0:44
this session is over , not only
0:46
will we be besties , we will be
0:48
. I'll be coming up there to visit
0:51
you in the Panhandle . Yeah
0:53
, because I always start
0:55
with how we met , but this is actually our first time
0:57
like meeting . Meeting , yeah , but
1:00
welcome to the podcast . And
1:02
I want to just give the listeners because
1:04
I do have some listeners around the globe , believe
1:06
it or not . That's the
1:08
beauty of podcasting you never know who's going to be listening
1:10
in another country . It's awesome . So
1:13
we actually haven't met in person
1:15
, but we are both living in Florida . So I don't know
1:17
if you know that , but I am in South Florida . Are
1:20
you cold ? I'm freezing . And
1:23
while I'm freezing , because , number one
1:25
, I'm at work and it's very , very
1:27
, very cold where I work . It's like
1:29
60 degrees at school , because I work in a high school
1:31
and today is hit the slope
1:33
spirit day for our Christmas spirit week . So
1:36
I'm in my spirit sweater and I also have a hat
1:38
and a scarf and we're all dressed up for the winter
1:40
, but it is chilly here Now
1:42
. You must be cold because you're in what ? North Florida
1:44
.
1:45
Yeah , it actually gets cold here
1:47
, yeah .
1:48
So what part of Florida do you live in ?
1:51
I live in between Destin
1:53
and Panama City .
1:54
Beach . I am dying to get up there because
1:56
I've seen pictures of the beaches and they're
1:58
so beautiful . It looks like Caribbean
2:01
. It's gorgeous . I drive eight hours
2:03
to go to the beach and I think next summer it's going to have to be a
2:05
yes and I'm going to either fly up there
2:07
or something , but I'm going to get
2:09
up there and so maybe by the time
2:11
this is over , I'll be coming to visit you .
2:14
Yeah , bring it on . We have visitors all
2:16
summer . We just . Our house is
2:18
literally a hotel all summer .
2:20
I love it , yeah , okay . So
2:23
I always start with how we met and the story is that
2:26
I saw you on Instagram . So
2:28
I have been very , very
2:31
curious about digital marketing for a very long time
2:33
because I am a high school teacher . I used
2:35
to teach financial literacy
2:37
, personal finance , honors and business
2:39
entrepreneurship . So , as
2:41
an entrepreneur , I'm always watching what's happening
2:44
in the world , and especially
2:46
marketing . I have like a marketing brain
2:48
. So your Instagram feed , your socials , get saturated
2:51
with all this digital marketing stuff and
2:53
all these people making money online . And
2:56
I know it's true , I know
2:58
it's valid , I know it is legitimate
3:00
, but there's so many
3:02
scammy people out there . So
3:05
I have to tell you . I watched your
3:08
socials for a while and
3:10
then I was like I like her and
3:12
I always have a good intuition about people , but
3:14
I'm like when you responded
3:16
to me in my DMs and actually started engaging
3:18
, I was like , okay , she's for real , because you
3:20
have to . If somebody doesn't feel like you are going
3:22
to take time for them , why on earth should they support
3:25
you , right , right ? So
3:27
I want to talk about a little bit . Your
3:32
socials caught my eye because you
3:35
are authentic and you help
3:37
people that are like you . That
3:39
maybe you wanted a little more flexibility . You want
3:42
to . You know are interested in digital marketing but don't know how to
3:44
get started . So tell me a little bit about
3:46
how you ended up here , because also
3:49
in the past I know you've done some network marketing
3:51
and you had some good success . So tell me how you got here
3:53
to the digital marketing journey that you're at today , and
3:55
then we'll talk about all the stuff we're currently doing .
3:58
Yeah Well , I was
4:01
a social worker before
4:03
everything . I got my master's degree
4:06
in social work . My
4:08
life goal , or heart plan
4:10
, I guess you can say , was to help
4:13
abuse children . So , starting
4:15
an undergrad , all the way through grad and then
4:17
getting my master's , I
4:19
was in the child abuse and
4:21
protection space , which I just
4:24
loved . You know , being
4:26
a lightened world in that way , it's
4:28
a very crazy job to be an
4:30
investigator for child protection
4:33
. There's no stability , it
4:35
does not pay well , it's just , it's great . You
4:37
have to have a heart for it .
4:39
Yeah , the day is terrible . I mean , I can't believe
4:41
what they pay these social workers . And you have to have a master's
4:43
degree . It's criminal .
4:45
I took home 2000 a month and I worked 50
4:47
hours a week with a master's , which is fine . I
4:50
wasn't doing it for the money , it was
4:52
really like what I wanted to
4:54
do , but
4:56
literally , you know , some days I'd go into
4:58
work and I would leave at 3 pm
5:00
. You know , it was like a slow day . Sometimes
5:02
I'd go into work and leave at 3 am , Like
5:04
you just never knew what was going to happen . And
5:08
when I had my first baby
5:10
, I had every intention of going back to work
5:12
after my maternity leave
5:14
, but I didn't have good childcare
5:16
set up . It was just like
5:19
I want to be at home . I
5:21
don't think I can do that . So for
5:23
about a year I was just at home
5:25
and my husband was getting a
5:27
startup off the ground , a software
5:30
company , which is insane
5:32
and I just kind of started to
5:34
think like I want to do something
5:37
outside of motherhood , that is
5:39
, just me reaching for goals or
5:41
whatever . And so I got into network marketing . I
5:43
had no idea what it was at
5:45
that point .
5:46
This was , like you know , nine years
5:48
ago , or whatever Can you say can you say what
5:50
companies to work for network marketing or no ?
5:53
Well , I did a couple I'd rather not . I
5:55
did a couple of health and wellness companies
5:58
, okay , so we sold like health supplements . I
6:00
did one for a while and then I went to another . The
6:02
second company I joined is where I had
6:04
a lot of success . I grew very
6:06
quickly . I made a lot of money . It
6:09
was really I was very successful
6:11
. I was
6:14
the second highest earner in the company
6:16
. But what started to happen
6:18
was I had four kids . My
6:21
husband owns a business . He is
6:23
not interested in being a stay
6:25
at home retired husband . That's
6:28
never been . You'll never see me talk about retiring
6:30
my husband because that's just not not
6:32
our journey .
6:34
I always struck up with people that I retired my
6:36
husband . I would like to retire myself
6:38
, which will never happen because I love
6:40
to work anyway . Why am I retiring
6:43
him ? Why is he getting retired ?
6:45
He's not too . It's like he's you
6:47
know , he wants to , he is
6:50
, he is brilliant , he is such a like
6:52
an amazing entrepreneur . He's so smart
6:54
. So , yeah , thank you . What
6:57
was happening was I was traveling
7:00
all the time . I was on zooms
7:02
, all the time I he I
7:04
was basically this like working
7:07
parent I mean , I might as well have had
7:09
a traveling corporate job and it
7:12
was hurting
7:14
our family , and so it
7:17
didn't matter how much money you were making , how
7:19
successful you were , you
7:22
. I really was at a crossroads of like
7:24
which way do I want to go Like ? Do I want
7:26
to get back to what is like truly
7:28
eternally important to me , or do I want to like
7:30
continue on this path ? And so I
7:32
made the decision to step back completely
7:34
. I got off of social media . I
7:37
just completely stepped back , and so , after
7:40
about eight months of Literally
7:43
doing nothing , I like read six books a
7:45
week I just completely got back to myself
7:48
, got into a lot of Bible studies
7:50
and just recalibrated . I
7:52
Was just scrolling
7:55
on social . I was kind of like softly
7:57
looking at social medias again and
7:59
started seeing these women
8:01
who were making crazy
8:04
money online but it wasn't
8:07
network marketing , which I didn't even know was possible
8:09
to like make good money online without
8:11
it being through network marketing , which I was right , never
8:14
gonna do again .
8:15
Well , and you know the network marketing , I have to say , because I
8:18
lost 145 pounds , I had a massive
8:20
weight loss . Yeah , I could have easily went
8:22
down that rabbit hole with a couple of different companies
8:24
and people try to recruit me all the time Because of the
8:26
weight loss . Yeah , I have to tell you I didn't
8:29
want to build a team , I didn't want to go people
8:31
, I would share the stuff I was doing
8:33
if somebody wanted to buy it , fine , and
8:35
we'll get into affiliate marketing later . I think I probably missed
8:37
some opportunities , but I think
8:39
that you know , it just didn't resonate
8:41
with me . I didn't want to buy a team and
8:44
build a team and you know it's
8:46
all so much recruiting and it just it just
8:48
didn't feel good to me .
8:50
It's a lot , it's a never , it's
8:52
just a it's . It
8:55
was so wild to me because it
8:58
was always touted
9:00
as like a time freedom type business
9:02
and it was never that
9:04
, ever say it takes a lot of work , lots
9:07
of words .
9:07
Talk about that in a minute too , because I want to talk about
9:09
passive income and the work involved because you know . It
9:12
doesn't come without effort , oh Gosh
9:14
no , it doesn't .
9:15
I'll never say I work one to two hours a day . That's just
9:18
not , that's not so who doesn't happen ?
9:20
Who was the person that you saw as you were scrolling
9:22
? You said you were doing like a soft scroll back on socials
9:24
, which I . First , I admire
9:26
you for taking that social media break , because I think
9:28
a reset is . We
9:31
all probably need it , even though
9:33
that's how you make a lot of your money now is on the social media
9:35
. It's so ironic . Yeah
9:38
, tell me who caught your attention and what
9:40
.
9:42
It was a youth , the girls in the seven
9:44
dollar course , legendary marketer
9:46
Opportunity
9:49
, which I'd never heard of before . I
9:51
didn't understand how it works . I just
9:53
saw Really normal
9:55
looking women making a hundred
9:57
to two hundred grand a month and being
9:59
like what is that real , yeah
10:02
? And just starting to research like what is what
10:04
is this ? What does this look like ? I didn't understand
10:06
how they were making that money and so I'm kind
10:08
of the person that has to wrap my
10:10
head around it and then , you know , can run
10:12
with it . So
10:15
I did a lot of research . I
10:18
had to do some legal research because I was still
10:20
making a passive income from the network marketing
10:22
company I was with and we had , you
10:24
know , straight non-competes and stuff like that
10:27
. And so
10:29
I just started doing the research and Bought
10:32
the course , bought the , the upsell
10:34
and for about three weeks was
10:36
launched on social media trying to
10:38
Get that off the ground
10:41
.
10:42
But I was at the course that talks
10:44
about , like the , all the side hustle videos
10:46
. Yes , so I did a lot
10:49
of those people and I know that you are
10:51
always transparent . That's one thing I love about
10:53
you You're always transparent . You say I
10:55
didn't take those videos down . You can see the beginning
10:57
of my journey when I was making the
10:59
side hustle videos , and
11:01
that's another thing . Like I Followed a
11:03
few of those people who I almost fit
11:05
the bullet and I went no , I
11:07
don't want to do this for $2,500
11:10
, because that's a lot of money .
11:12
It's a lot of money . And there was just
11:14
a couple things where I was like I can't . I
11:18
can't like in my conscious
11:20
, like good conscious , like promote this
11:22
. I'm talking about
11:24
ways to make money that I don't do and that
11:27
I don't even think work . I am
11:29
telling people to $7 course because
11:31
they tell you to , when in reality I
11:33
know that they're gonna be pitched to $2,500 course
11:35
. I don't really want people spending $2,500
11:38
. Like that is a lot of
11:40
money for people . So
11:42
in three weeks I was just like I can't
11:45
. I mean , I was talking to my husband . I was like I feel like
11:47
my soul is being crushed , like I don't want to do
11:49
this , you know . And that's
11:51
when the Master Resale
11:53
Rights course kind of started popping up and
11:56
I was skeptical
11:58
. I was like okay , is this just another
12:00
place where I'm gonna put money and
12:03
then not feel aligned , like am
12:05
I wasting money ? Like what ? I
12:07
felt like really nervous about it .
12:09
Well , on top of the , money you've already spent , because you had
12:12
already made a significant it . So to
12:14
go and say I've already spent $2,500
12:16
, what's another $500 ? That's
12:18
a lot to say . How do
12:20
I do this ?
12:21
At that point , for us it was
12:23
because I had made a lot
12:25
of money and I was making a good paycheck , but
12:27
that paycheck , if you're not actively
12:29
working for it , it's going down . And
12:32
so , yes
12:35
, we had the money , but also , like we're
12:37
really wise , and I had spent
12:40
$2,500 on this course , I had spent $500
12:42
on an Instagram course , so I'm
12:44
3,000 in the whole and I'm like , am
12:47
I just putting another 500 into the
12:50
bucket ? And , like you know
12:52
, I really was nervous about
12:54
where that journey would take me . But as
12:56
I researched and got into it and started
12:58
going through the course you bought the course
13:00
, started going through it , setting my stuff up
13:02
, I was like , wow , this is like , this
13:05
is chocked full of practical
13:08
good information and skills
13:10
, and one sale is
13:12
gonna make me my money back . And so
13:14
that was my goal . And then , once I got
13:16
that sale , I was like , all right , I need five more
13:19
sales to recoup my $500
13:22
investment . And then it just kept going
13:24
and going and going and it was
13:26
something that gave me , like
13:28
I felt my like light come back on , like
13:31
I felt a passion , and
13:33
I was doing it in a way that really
13:36
aligned with my family and
13:38
how present . I wanted to be as a mom
13:40
in the boundaries that I wanted to have around
13:43
my business and around social media , and
13:45
so I'm very conscious of that and
13:48
it's just been . It's opened
13:50
my eyes to a world I didn't know was
13:52
there . Digital
13:55
marketing is a whole
13:57
wide world , versus being
14:00
in like a network marketing company . That's just this
14:02
little bubble . Right , you've got your certain
14:04
set of products , your certain comp plan . It's
14:07
this like if you leave , we're gonna disown
14:09
you . And then here it's just like . It's a wide
14:11
, open world . You get to make your decisions
14:13
of what works best . And
14:16
yeah , it's just been , it's been
14:18
awesome .
14:19
I don't you know , I don't know what it's gonna be . I have
14:21
to tell you so for anybody that's listening , and when
14:23
I do my show notes , I'll put everything in there
14:25
. I'll put your Instagram handle . So
14:29
I am a beginner . So
14:32
I was mulling it over
14:34
. I was thinking about I
14:37
looked at the $7 course and I was like no , I'm not doing a
14:39
$2,500 episode and everything I had
14:41
read about people saying you really need that to be
14:43
successful I was like no , I'm not doing that , but
14:46
I'm a gambler . So I was like you know what
14:48
? For me , $500 , I'd
14:50
spend that in a weekend in the casino and
14:52
I love to have fun with my girlfriends and
14:55
we spend that in a weekend having a girls weekend out . So I said
14:57
, am I worth it ? I am definitely
14:59
worth this $500 . And I budgeted
15:01
and I was like I'm gonna allocate this to my
15:03
digital marketing journey . But
15:06
I saw you
15:08
in your page and kind
15:10
of shift to online profit secrets
15:12
and the Captivation Hub
15:14
and I was like
15:16
, okay , this looks really good . So
15:19
I was watching and watching , and watching
15:21
and then I said you know what , I'm gonna do it . This is
15:23
the weekend I'm gonna buy the course . Also
15:27
, I'm a financial literacy
15:30
teacher . So I
15:32
know you talk a lot about niches and people finding
15:35
their niche . So for a beginner
15:37
like me , I'm thinking to myself how
15:39
am I going to sell these courses
15:42
without feeling like I'm selling a course
15:44
to sell a course to sell a course ? And then how
15:46
am I gonna add value ? Because I know I have a couple
15:48
of good niche opportunities . So I
15:51
almost thought could we take one minute to
15:53
do a niche drill down session
15:55
with me ? So it's like I'm
15:58
50 . I just turned 50 in July . That's
16:00
a huge milestone . And I do not have
16:02
a good retirement account because nobody taught me . My
16:05
kids are good because I'm a finance teacher and
16:07
now I'm making sure , at 18 years old , they're starting
16:09
their retirement account , which is not on anybody's
16:11
mind at 18 years old . Had it been
16:13
on my mind , we probably went behind this conversation today
16:15
. But I feel like I'm
16:18
50 . My target
16:20
market is people like me . That's
16:22
never too late that you can
16:24
change the trajectory of your life if
16:26
you are interested in digital marketing
16:28
or you have a business and
16:31
you want to take that next step . When
16:33
I'm really attracted to is even if you have
16:35
a physical business or an e-commerce store or
16:37
you make crafts or whatever you do . Just
16:40
the value in the
16:42
funnel's course alone I
16:45
think is amazing , and I think Captivation
16:47
Hub is an amazing platform . But
16:50
I have to tell you I am an affiliate
16:53
for a skincare company that I love
16:55
and I thought is there a way
16:57
for me to bring that into the Captivation
16:59
Hub Because I have an affiliate link ? So
17:01
I know that you did some affiliate marketing and
17:04
you talk about your eight streams of income . Can
17:06
you tell me what
17:09
those eight streams are ? Can you give us a little
17:11
more idea of how you built the
17:13
eight streams of income and kind of what they
17:15
are ? And do you have anything that is affiliate based
17:18
besides , like OPS and Captivation Hub , which
17:20
I'm hoping to be an affiliate for eventually I'm
17:22
dying . I'm trying to get through my training so I can
17:24
apply for affiliate when it opens
17:26
on the 18th of December . I'm like I really
17:29
, really want to be an affiliate because I want people
17:31
to come with me on the journey
17:33
. So part of my niche is I'm a beginner too . Do
17:35
it with me , let's do it together . The
17:38
other part of it is , if you're like me , in that 50
17:40
bucks and you don't have your couple million in your retirement
17:43
account . Let's try to get there together
17:45
. And then the other part of me
17:47
is like how can I ask
17:49
people to join me and say , make money with Lydia
17:51
, if I haven't made any money
17:54
yet , I don't have any sales yet . So I think
17:56
it's just like that loaded burrito
17:58
. You're wondering how do I get
18:00
people to take the bite and come on the journey with me . So
18:02
could we talk about your eight streams of income ?
18:05
Yeah , they all tie in
18:07
together , so I don't have an
18:09
income stream that is outside
18:12
of like
18:14
what I'm doing here . So I've
18:16
got three digital
18:18
products . One of them is very low ticket
18:20
and I don't really push it . It's just that
18:22
people ask . Is that the funnels for everyone . No
18:26
, it's like an ebook . Okay , so you
18:28
have an ebook , like creating your own products ebook
18:31
. Yeah , okay , what else do
18:33
you have ? And then I've got the two courses OPS
18:36
and Revenue Revolution
18:38
. Okay , your MRR great . And
18:41
then I'm an affiliate for four different
18:43
softwares . So when I
18:45
started with Masterisa , right , the
18:49
three different softwares
18:51
that I used in connection with it were Stand
18:53
Store , systemio
18:55
and Namecheap
18:58
, which is the domain
19:00
. So in my welcome
19:02
email , when somebody would buy the course for me , that
19:05
was automated to send out , I gave
19:07
them a step one , two and three Create
19:10
your Systemio account , had my affiliate link
19:12
, buy your domain name from Namecheap it's
19:15
the best one , the cheapest one that I found
19:17
right here , it's my affiliate link
19:20
and set up a Stand Store for
19:23
a free trial , if you want
19:25
to use Stand Store , had my affiliate link . And
19:27
so I just always sent my affiliate links
19:29
through my welcome email
19:31
. So that's what I did for months
19:34
and had
19:37
built up a residual income
19:39
with those which
19:42
love , yeah . And then when , three
19:44
and a half months into that , when I was approached
19:47
to partner up with OPS
19:49
and Captivation Hub obviously
19:52
Captivation Hub is like
19:54
if you haven't been in the business , you
19:56
might not understand the value that it holds
19:58
. But if you've tried to mess around with other
20:00
softwares and then you get to Captivation
20:02
Hub , you're like oh my gosh , this is nuts
20:05
, this is like it's amazing .
20:06
It's insane , yeah , so
20:09
I just want to be transparent with everybody that I paid
20:11
the $397 and I bought
20:13
OPS from you . Right
20:15
, I haven't fit the MRR yet because
20:17
I'm still trying to understand everything I'm doing . I
20:20
may incorporate that . I don't know , but
20:23
I thought , even just for my
20:25
other affiliate items , just
20:28
the funnels and the marketing
20:30
tools in Captivation Hub . And then what
20:33
was the newest one that you guys gave us when we bought
20:36
OPS ?
20:36
the online course creation or course creation
20:39
, yeah , so learning how to create your own course
20:41
from literally start to finish , a to Z
20:43
.
20:44
That is what is really attractive to me , because
20:46
, as an educator , I want
20:48
to build my own course 14s
20:50
that gives them . If
20:53
you do nothing else in your life , do
20:55
this when you started 18 and you're going
20:57
to set yourself up for success later on .
20:59
I think it's so wise , and even if a teen's not
21:02
interested in buying it , the
21:04
parents will be Parents .
21:05
Yeah , and like I don't think a lot
21:07
of parents even know how to set their kids
21:09
up for success , no , they don't , because I
21:12
had a friend and she was like you
21:14
know , whenever my friends post happy
21:16
birthday to their kids and
21:18
they're 23 , 25
21:20
, 28 and I'm seeing these kids age
21:22
and I go how's the Roth IRA doing
21:25
? How's their retirement going to do ? They don't have any of that
21:27
. Okay , if they're
21:29
going to go work for a company and they're not
21:31
going to be an entrepreneur and everybody is an entrepreneur
21:34
people like the stability . I am
21:36
actually one of those people who likes the little
21:38
stability of my day job because I love my
21:40
job . Like I don't have plans to quit my job
21:42
. I love my job but I would
21:44
like to secure my retirement income . So I think
21:46
that's part of my niche and my target
21:48
audience is if you're like me , we
21:50
didn't have that education when we were young . We
21:52
didn't have a Lydia to teach me when I was
21:54
18 . So what can
21:57
I do now to change introductory in my life
21:59
? Well , if you own a business , buy
22:02
the Facebook and Instagram ads , course , and get
22:04
that business flowing better , something
22:07
like I think there's so much value . But
22:10
I think also people want the fast cash
22:12
, they want the fast path and they
22:15
get attracted to what's called passive
22:17
income . It takes effort to set
22:19
everything up . So right now I'm still
22:21
learning . I haven't set everything
22:24
up , but I have to say I did the rapid start
22:26
and so I already
22:28
have the ability to sell three products and
22:31
I want these people to come on the journey with me . So
22:34
I haven't officially posted my first
22:36
reel in my separate
22:38
Instagram for the business , but
22:40
I have a nice little following on
22:42
Instagram and , like one
22:44
of my most recent weight loss reels , I do
22:46
that . I like trending reels and
22:49
I did the one that was like three photos to say I
22:51
did that and my first photo was like my
22:53
largest picture . And
22:55
then I did the second one , which was like a Disney picture
22:57
that I always take this weight loss update picture Cause
22:59
I had this one where I'm really heavy in front of the castle and
23:01
then I take a fresh one every time
23:04
I go . Love that . And then I'd have a recent
23:06
one that I was at a gala , really formal , glammed
23:08
up , and
23:10
I have like 2600 views . I
23:13
think that's a decent like . I think
23:16
I'm trying to start moving
23:18
some of my personal
23:20
to my business page
23:22
to say , hey , even if you don't want to join me , watch
23:25
my journey . And I think
23:27
also I'm giving myself one year
23:29
. So I said , if
23:31
I do this for one year we were talking about
23:34
it on Thanksgiving what would my life look
23:36
like by next Thanksgiving ? Great
23:38
, I'm not sure if it's . I made $500
23:41
, 5000 , 10,000 , maybe it's a million
23:43
, I don't know . It's limitless
23:45
, I really feel . But I feel like
23:47
if I don't do something , I'll never
23:49
know and I'll just keep scrolling , watching everybody
23:51
else making this money online . I
23:55
mean , it resonates with you , right , cause it's
23:57
like you see people and you're watching
23:59
and I'm watching you Now when
24:01
people see your success . So tell
24:03
my listeners and
24:05
you're very open about this how much you've made since
24:08
you started this journey back in May .
24:12
Through everything almost , and it might
24:14
actually officially be that , but almost
24:16
2.3 million , that's
24:19
incredible . It's insane and honestly
24:21
my goal was 100K by
24:23
the end of summer . If I thought who
24:27
that would be so amazing .
24:30
But you can officially call yourself a millionaire . Yes
24:34
, you can officially call
24:36
yourself a millionaire . Yeah , that's
24:38
Fran . That is just , it's
24:40
huge Wild . It's
24:43
wild Now , taking
24:45
into consideration , obviously , you've got
24:47
to pay the IRS their share . You
24:50
have to . I know we've talked about
24:52
opening an LLC , getting
24:54
a good CPA , getting some good advice , but
24:58
you do have to make
25:00
estimated tax payments and pay in when
25:03
your kids get to a certain age where they could
25:05
be on the payroll I've got two
25:07
on payroll . You can pay them
25:09
$12,400
25:11
a year of free money
25:13
, tax free . I mean
25:15
. There's so many benefits for
25:18
you and your family . It's like , why wouldn't
25:20
I do this ? Yeah , Now for
25:22
the person like me who's listening I
25:25
still have a full-time job . I
25:27
am not a stay-at-home mom . I'm not
25:29
quitting my job . Even
25:31
if I had a million in sales in the next six months
25:33
, I would say that's my retirement and
25:36
I'm not going to stop working . How
25:39
do you encourage people and what do
25:41
you tell them to do ? How do you get that first
25:43
sale ? Because it's
25:45
tough to get that first sale . How did you get your first
25:47
sale ?
25:49
Well , when I
25:51
started my account , I
25:53
was doing TikTok and Instagram
25:56
. You start from zero . Nobody
25:59
starts with a head start , unless
26:01
they had a previous business , but even then they
26:03
started from zero . Like everybody starts from
26:05
zero .
26:07
You'll see in the caption in my Instagram
26:09
bio it says from $0
26:12
to limitless or unlimited
26:14
.
26:15
Yeah .
26:15
Follow me on my journey . I want people to see
26:17
, and if I totally suck at
26:19
this and I fail a year from now , who cares ? At least I
26:21
tried , but I don't think it's going to
26:24
suck and I don't think I'm going to fail because I'm still doing my trainings
26:26
.
26:26
Yeah , that was my first post . It was
26:28
literally like this is day one . I
26:31
have no followers , I've made no money , I
26:33
have no experience , but my goal is this
26:35
Like can I do it ? Kind
26:38
of like this vulnerable
26:41
is something that
26:43
people who are even considering
26:45
the prospect of
26:47
starting but feel like that will
26:49
relate to and we want to follow
26:52
and watch . And then a lot of what
26:54
I did was I always think
26:56
about what
26:59
did I want to see when
27:01
I didn't know anything about this , like
27:03
what's my attention ? Like somebody
27:06
made a comment on my post today and it makes me
27:08
laugh . But they were just like wow
27:10
, you're really good at this , but like you
27:12
keep repeating yourself and it's getting old
27:14
. And it was somebody that was
27:16
like , wow , another of one of your same posts
27:19
. And I'm like , well , that's the mindset
27:21
number one that holds
27:24
people back from success , because I'm
27:26
not talking to everybody , I
27:29
am talking to myself . Six months
27:31
ago , who was seeing
27:33
the same kind of posts over and over again
27:35
. That finally solidified in my
27:37
brain OK , I'm going to try
27:40
this , and so that's who I'm talking
27:42
to . I'm not talking to everybody . Yeah
27:44
, so I always thought about that
27:46
and I would talk about the success that I was
27:48
seeing other people have what
27:51
excited me the most about , about the opportunity
27:54
, and I just kind of built off
27:56
of that .
27:57
And I want to talk to everybody about your giveaway
27:59
, because when I see people who
28:01
are successful , my first thing
28:04
is what are you doing to give back ? What
28:06
are you doing to gift , like I
28:08
will ? Probably , if I ever get to that level of success , I'll
28:10
go randomly buy people's courses just to give them
28:12
a sale , probably just because $27
28:15
for the cheapest one . I could do that , right
28:18
? I want
28:20
to talk about your giveaway . So you're going to give away $1,000
28:22
of three different people on the 20th of December , right
28:25
? Yeah , yeah , I
28:28
shared your post . I'm hoping
28:30
I'm a random winner , because I would love that . Yeah
28:32
, but I think it's important to give back . So , and
28:36
also for tax purposes being
28:38
charitable is a tax advantage . It
28:41
is , yeah .
28:42
But it feels good . It
28:44
does feel good . We love to give back . We
28:47
monthly have missionaries
28:50
, we support organizations , we
28:52
support our church . We
28:55
do random things , bigger , random
28:57
, bigger donations
28:59
. I like to find
29:02
people outside of an organization
29:04
to help .
29:06
I would love to gift this course to somebody that
29:09
doesn't know how to get started or doesn't have that
29:11
$397 , because I do feel
29:13
like this is truly a gift . I
29:16
hope I get to that level one day where I can do
29:18
that . One of my biggest
29:21
goals is paying off my HELOC . I had to take
29:23
a second mortgage to pay off some debt and
29:25
I was going through some financial stress and
29:28
I want to get that paid off . I want to have $100,000
29:30
sitting in my son's college account . So he says
29:32
I want a nicer apartment , mom . And I say , yes , you can
29:34
have the nicer apartment . And
29:37
it's funny because my kids they're
29:40
like I know , I know you're starting a digital marketing business
29:42
. And I think they're kind of like , yeah , what's she trying next
29:45
? Because I have done the network
29:47
marketing thing and I've been down the rabbit hole in a few
29:49
things and I actually do have an LLC
29:51
because I have a dog sitting business , which now I
29:54
don't want to do anymore . So I give that to my daughter
29:56
and she does all the dog sitting jobs and
29:58
we love our dog clients just because we
30:01
have regulars now and we can't say goodbye and we love
30:03
the dogs , but dog
30:05
sitting is not going to make me a millionaire . Right
30:07
Dog sitting for $50 a day
30:09
, no matter how many clients I have , it's not going to get me there
30:12
and I like to work smarter , not harder
30:14
, and I think as we wrap up
30:16
here . So I want to be considered
30:19
of your time . What is one
30:21
thing you would say to somebody
30:23
out there who's seeing all
30:25
the scammy posts , who's seeing all the things about affiliate
30:28
marketing ? Who's seeing the ghost commerce
30:30
? What is ghost commerce anyway ? Why are they calling
30:32
it ghost commerce ? They don't know what that is .
30:34
I think because they're
30:36
insinuating that people aren't showing their
30:38
face . Ok , I
30:41
don't think that .
30:44
I am very attracted to affiliate marketing
30:46
, so I just think
30:49
that it's so
30:51
great , but you have
30:53
to invest the time . So what do you say to
30:55
somebody ? Because I know at the
30:57
time that you started this , you weren't working full time . You
30:59
were able to really dive in and lock
31:01
into two , three days just training
31:04
. What do you say to somebody who's on
31:06
the fence ? What
31:09
would be your best advice Somebody who's on the fence
31:11
about starting this journey if they're interested
31:13
? Because I do have friends that are interested but
31:15
their husbands say it's a scam . Why
31:18
are you going to spend money on that ? For instance
31:20
, I have a friend who's a photographer . I
31:22
said you have photography business . I see you posting
31:25
your photos on Facebook , right
31:27
? Wouldn't the Facebook and Instagram ads
31:29
, of course , benefit them ? I mean , even just
31:31
one simple thing , even if they don't want to do the whole
31:33
OPS and Captivation Hub and all that , right
31:36
? Wouldn't that be something beneficial
31:38
to somebody ? What do you say to people who are on the chat ?
31:41
I think the OPS is beneficial
31:43
to anybody who wants to learn how to start
31:45
a digital marketing business , or has a
31:47
traditional business and wants more of a
31:50
digital presence . I
31:54
think the OPS course what we're trying
31:56
to do with that is basically make
31:59
it the course for
32:01
the foundational skill set and
32:04
to help you expand your current
32:06
business or your new business , digital
32:09
marketing . There's nothing easy
32:12
, it's simple . There's something easy about
32:14
it you have to have the skill set
32:16
. There's no way around that
32:18
. There's no shortcut . You have to learn
32:21
the basic skills if you want
32:23
to start a business , especially
32:26
if you want to have a long-lasting business that you can
32:28
eventually build upon . We're just
32:30
trying to make it that it's
32:33
not a shortcut course . It
32:36
is the real deal .
32:37
It takes effort , it does take effort , it does . Yeah
32:39
, how are you feeling about
32:41
2024 and
32:44
what are you excited about
32:46
in any new goals for 2024 ? Before
32:49
we wrap up , your
32:52
first goal was 100K and then you blew that
32:54
. You added some zeros there , fran
32:57
.
32:57
I know it's so awesome . I
33:00
just hope to keep going and impacting
33:02
and being a positive
33:04
force . I just hope to keep going . I
33:07
tend to just put one foot in front of the other
33:10
and I think I would tell somebody who's very overwhelmed
33:12
at getting started make
33:15
smaller goals for yourself , even if
33:17
the goal is like , okay , 30 minutes a day
33:19
, I'm going to watch this course . That's
33:22
what I did . I was like , okay
33:24
, I'm going to watch a module or two modules
33:26
a day and then I'm going to do this . It
33:29
was just a one foot in front of the other . It's
33:32
like what I'm doing with the different
33:34
offers that I have . Anytime
33:36
something's presented to me , it's like okay
33:39
, really look into it , does this add value
33:41
? I haven't found anything outside
33:43
of the revenue revolution and online
33:45
profit secrets that I truly feel could
33:47
add value . It's
33:50
kind of just like a take it as it comes
33:52
and one foot in front of the other . My
33:55
goal for sure in 2024 is to find
33:57
really smart ways to let my money work
34:00
for us . We found a few ways already
34:02
that does that , but I would like
34:04
to have at least five streams of
34:06
income that , in and of themselves
34:09
, completely pay for our expenses
34:11
, so that if something happens to one
34:14
, we're okay . You know what I mean . That's
34:16
kind of just fortifying our future
34:18
, no matter what happens
34:20
, is Right .
34:21
I'm always so curious . I'm like did you pay
34:23
off your house already ? You
34:25
decide to just go all in . Some
34:29
people go crazy . They buy a Ferrari . Who knows what
34:31
they do .
34:31
But the beauty of it is .
34:33
it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it . I
34:36
want to get my retirement secured . I think that's
34:38
going to be part of my niche is women
34:40
like me over 50 , not a
34:42
lot in retirement and join
34:45
the journey , or people
34:47
that have a business that want to help
34:49
take it to that next level . Do
34:53
you have any questions for me or do you have
34:55
anything you want to say to me ? Because
34:57
I am somebody who bought OPS from you , I
35:00
know that's awesome .
35:01
I just think you have so much to give Once
35:05
you really get your foundation down
35:07
. I think that you
35:09
, with your expertise
35:12
in financial literacy
35:15
, just branding yourself as that
35:17
and adding value in those ways
35:19
to people because I get questions like that all the time
35:21
what
35:24
can you do to invest , or what's
35:26
the best way to do an LLC ? There's so many
35:28
different questions that people have that
35:30
I think you could really pull
35:32
that value into your brand .
35:35
One of my best friends in the world is a CPA . She
35:38
teaches tax law to CPAs all over the country
35:40
. At that point
35:42
when I'm ready to put either one of
35:44
my kids on my payroll , I want to get to that level . I
35:47
have that support and then I was
35:49
thinking of having her come on and do a webinar . There's
35:52
so much opportunity . It just
35:54
excites me so much . I was so discouraged
35:57
the first couple of days because I'm like , oh my God , what did I
35:59
get myself into ? Did I really just do this ? Then
36:02
I thought I'm going to do this Exciting
36:05
. I'm super excited for the online course
36:07
creations because I want to create my own course .
36:10
I think everybody should want to do that eventually
36:12
, not off the bat . It's too
36:14
overwhelming off the bat for people . Once
36:18
you're in it and you start to learn
36:20
the temperature of the market
36:23
and what people need , creating your own
36:25
course and continuously creating
36:28
solutions to the needs that people have is how
36:30
you're going to have a long lasting
36:32
business .
36:33
I hope , as we stay in touch and
36:35
get to know each other better , I'm going to
36:37
come up and we're going to make a reel together . Let's
36:40
do it . It's going to be like . This
36:42
is where I started seeing you on
36:44
Instagram .
36:45
Now I'm here with you .
36:46
We're going to make a cute little reel . We're going to dance . Let's
36:49
do it . Then we're going to talk about our results together . I think that
36:51
would be so fun . That would be so fun . Thank
36:54
