There wasn’t much to interpret on Hannibal this time but we analyze the latest episode of the show, nitpick about some details of the plot (including its anachronisms), acknowledge that Bryan Fuller is trolling us all, make pope jokes (no, that’s not a typo), discuss a sequence that is very different from the book, and trace some parallels between Goethe’s Faust and Fuller’s Hannibal.

We also talked about the anime Gakkou Gurashi! (School-Live!, with spoilers for the first episode), modern art, and Cory Arcangel’s video installation “There’s Always One At Every Party” (about Kramer’s coffee table book about coffee tables).
