The “Workshop of Light” Museum, better known as L’Atelier des Lumières, is the first digital art museum in Paris, France. CultureSpaces, a company that specializes in creating cultural experiences, discovered a historical foundry and completely revamped the venue to make it the digital art museum’s new home. The company then teamed up with Barco and integrator Cadmos to bring the immersive museum project to life.  Thanks to 140 projectors, L’Atelier des Lumières is able to showcase the artwork of Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Hundertwasser in breathtaking colors and detail thereby boosting digital culture cred and tourism for the city.

In this episode, Barco’s Director of Strategic Marketing, Venues & Hospitality Peter Pauwels joins us to provide an exclusive and behind-the-scenes look into this new venue that puts visitors inside classic works with high-contrast and razor-sharp imaging.
