It’s finally time for Season 8 of Director Showdown: Edgar Wright vs. Taika Waititi, kicking things off with 2004’s ‘Shaun of the Dead’! We’re talking lighter fare this season, since the whole damn world is locked inside and quarantined. We’ve also been talking about covering comedy directors since practically the beginning, deciding on these two guys, each with their own careers climbing the zeitgeist and building interesting filmographies.
