This week we discuss the ins and outs of the voting mechanism.

We discuss its uses, including informing decisions, managing the whitelist, and releasing funds from the Gridcoin foundation. We also discuss how it works through coin-weight and magnitude-weight, along with some problems and ideas on what we can do to improve the system.

Delta1512 introduced us to the BOINC project that started it all, SETI@home. He educated us on its goals, how it works, its achievements, and what contributing your processing power to the project actually does.
