I have lived my lived my life thinking that respect was something that was earned. My viewpoint was perceived through the lense  of righteousness. I would be respected if I told the truth & held true to that truth as well as holding other to that same truth. It was, in essence, that way of the streets. (School of Hard Knocks)

So, you never ever, bite the hand that feeds you or bring dishonor to those who were higher up the food chain then you. (even if you thought they were wrong) By doing this, then maybe, you will be accepted as being righteous. This always meant that somebody was going to be wrong if you were being right. This worked in all areas of life, including home, work or otherwise.

The problem with this is it excludes allot of people.  If you are always right, then somebody has to be wrong. It will always leave somebody out leaving us separate and often alone.

I have discovered that everybody is always right. As Henry Ford once said, "whether you think you can  or think you can't...you're right." What there is to do is to change your view point and accept the fact that none of us see things in the same way. Once we are able to understand this basic idea, then we are able to understand that often times the stories we understand to be true are just that stories. We make up things according to the way we view them.

When we are able to just step inside of another person's view of the same situation, we can then recreate our stories. By doing this, we can RE-Create, build & connect the people in our lives. These relationships are the foundation of our planet. If you can begin doing this with those closest to us then in no time at all we can change the course of our planet, one heart at a time.
