This week on the DIY Financial Cents Show I sit down Jesse who is the founder of the Best Interest, a financial literacy company specializing in personal finance and basic investing concepts.
With the help of some of the financial principles we are going to explore on today’s episode, Jesse was able to pay off $50,000 in school debt and build a net worth of $250,000 in 6 years. What I like the most about his story is he did this while never earning six figures in a single year. He hasn’t struck gold on speculative investments: no Bitcoin, no lottery, no individual stock-picking. And he hasn’t inherited any money, other than the occasional $25 in a birthday card from his grandma.
