Interesting conversations with Dr. William Mak and Dr. David Deng, both family medicine second-year residents (PGY2) from the University of British Columbia.
In this episode, we discuss their backgrounds, their hobbies/interests, and how they got involved in leadership roles. We also discuss the pros and cons of rural vs urban sites pertaining to family medicine residency. I had a great time talking to these two while learning a lot about medicine and the people behind it. I think medical students who are planning to apply for Carms next year will find this very helpful.
