We were not aware of the conflict of interest raised by Daniel Schulof when we interviewed Dr. Kelly Diehl in 2021. While we are grateful for the beneficial work they have done in many areas of animal research, we implore the Morris Animal Foundation to objectively study the impact of meat-based protein versus plant-derived carbohydrates in pet food.
