Tonight's guest is Liz. Welcome

2:30

to the show. Hi, Vic.

2:33

Thank you. Well, thank you for coming

2:36

on, Liz. We appreciate your time. Liz,

2:39

please give us a brief bio on yourself.

2:42

Well, I'm retired. I'm

2:45

a senior. I live in a senior village

2:48

in Manchester, New Jersey. I

2:50

have two daughters. One's

2:53

married with three grandchildren. The other one

2:55

is engaged. What

2:58

else can I say about myself? My

3:01

car got totaled,

3:03

so I do a lot of walking in my

3:06

area

3:07

around where I live. I

3:10

love animals.

3:13

I don't know what else to say about me.

3:15

I always had a fear

3:18

growing up of werewolves

3:21

due to an episode with my

3:23

brother, but we'll talk about that later.

3:26

Instead of talking about that later, how about

3:28

we touch on that now? It really

3:30

is a shame what he did. Please tell the listeners

3:32

about that.

3:34

Well, when I was about

3:36

five years old before school age, five

3:39

going on six maybe, it

3:42

was back in the fifties when Frankenstein

3:45

and werewolf and all

3:47

these crazy horror movies were out.

3:50

My brother had a mask of

3:52

a werewolf, and

3:55

he used to like to scare me.

3:58

I had a little window over my bed.

4:00

a little square

4:01

window and I lived

4:03

on the second floor

4:04

and he said, you know, werewolves

4:06

like

4:07

to eat little girls. They come

4:10

and take little girls. They said then they climb

4:12

up buildings. So you have

4:14

to be careful when there's a full moon out. That's

4:16

when the werewolf comes out and he's going to try and get

4:19

you through that window. And

4:21

he used to sneak in my room

4:24

with this mask on

4:25

and wake me up in the middle of the night

4:28

and I would be frantically screaming

4:31

and my father would come

4:33

in and I just

4:34

would say the monster

4:36

is going to get me. The monster is going to get

4:38

me. And I had trouble

4:40

going to bed alone in my room. For

4:42

years my father would come in my room

4:45

and sit on the end of the bed until

4:47

I fell asleep. Yeah, he got punished

4:49

for my mother and father when they found out what he

4:51

was up to, but he thought it was funny. And

4:54

that fear stayed with me. Most

4:57

of my teenage

5:00

years into adulthood, you

5:03

know, my first boyfriend used to say, how are you, could be

5:05

afraid of the sanity. And I

5:07

just can't look at that face. I said, I just

5:09

can't look at that face. I would

5:11

turn chalk white when that movie

5:13

was on. So for all of

5:15

this to happen to me, it's

5:18

strange. Of all people,

5:20

I had this phobia as a

5:22

kid and I would dream. And

5:25

dreams for years, every

5:27

night, same dream over and over

5:29

again, being chased on

5:32

a field of green grass into

5:35

a giant wall of bushes by

5:38

a werewolf. And

5:41

then I would wake up and I was

5:43

terrorized with this for years.

5:46

And same dream night after night as

5:48

a kid. And finally the dreams

5:51

went away as I got older, but it

5:53

was a strong phobia. So

5:57

for this to happen to me, I'd

5:59

have walked. people. But

6:01

the funny thing is when I had my encounter,

6:04

I realized,

6:05

kind of

6:06

took my phobia away in a weird way

6:08

that when I was a kid,

6:11

it was a monster. Now

6:13

as an older person

6:16

saying this, it's an animal. Like

6:19

seeing a tiger or being

6:21

face to face with a cougar. It's

6:24

not a mythical creature. It's a real

6:26

blood-flesh animal. And

6:29

like I said, I love animals. But

6:31

I'll get into that later how I thought it was beautiful

6:34

when I first saw it. But shocking,

6:37

very shocking to see what I saw.

6:40

You poor thing. Shame on him for putting

6:42

you through that. That's horrible. He

6:46

was a buster. He was a buster,

6:48

my brother.

6:49

I'm sure, you know, if he knew how

6:51

much I felt when I went through it, he wouldn't have done

6:53

it. But I hate even saying

6:55

it on the show. I hope he never hears the episode.

6:59

But he was seven

7:01

years older than me. You

7:04

know, he wasn't much older.

7:06

So he was a young kid too.

7:09

You know, boys do crazy

7:11

things. So

7:13

yeah, something that happened.

7:15

It's something that happened. And as you

7:17

know, big brothers love to torment

7:20

little brothers and little sisters, but

7:22

still shame on him to go to

7:24

those measures and to that

7:26

extent to torment

7:28

you. That is horrible. Yeah,

7:30

I wish he never would have done that. Talking

7:33

about what he did to you, how much more difficult

7:35

do you think your phobia werewolves may dealing

7:38

with your dog man encounters?

7:40

Well, when

7:42

it happened, I was shocked,

7:45

completely shocked, trying

7:48

to grasp what I

7:50

was saying. I couldn't believe I was saying what

7:52

I was saying. My mind couldn't get around

7:54

what I

7:55

was saying at first.

7:58

But then after hearing a lot of epic, episodes

8:00

and other people's encounters, I realized

8:03

more and more what I was dealing with, what

8:05

I did see.

8:06

And it put a little bit of fear into

8:08

me,

8:09

hearing a lot of other episodes

8:11

that were a lot worse than mine. I mean,

8:14

there were a lot of terrifying episodes,

8:16

realizing what it is. I

8:19

was a little bit more fearful and

8:22

more aware of my surroundings

8:26

when I do go out. I'm afraid

8:28

to leave my house. At

8:31

night, I have to walk

8:33

from my back door to my car,

8:35

and there are woods right behind my house, maybe

8:39

five to eight feet back.

8:42

I'd say about eight feet back

8:44

is the wood line

8:45

right behind my house. And

8:48

it runs back real far, and there's a stream,

8:50

there's a swamp, and a lake

8:52

area.

8:56

I know it's in

8:56

there because I'm not far from where

8:59

I saw it the first time. So

9:01

I used to walk around in my development.

9:04

I have other family members that live here. I would

9:06

walk to their house at night. And

9:08

I'm not thinking anything of it, just taking

9:11

a walk at night in the summertime. Every

9:14

once in a while, I'd get a creepy feeling.

9:17

You know, I got to have your home and start. I feel

9:19

like something's watching me. I always get these creepy

9:21

feelings sometimes, and

9:23

I would walk faster. But I never had any encounters.

9:27

But once that happened, now,

9:31

you know, if I hear a twig snap behind

9:33

me, I stop breathing. I

9:35

catch my breath like, what was that? And I'm

9:37

looking, and I'm looking everywhere. You know, when

9:39

I drive, I look everywhere. So

9:42

I was obsessed with this for about a year, nonstop

9:46

talking about it, trying to figure

9:48

out what I saw.

9:50

I was looking on the internet

9:52

for pictures.

9:54

What was this animal? You know,

9:56

what was it? Was it a cougar? Was

9:58

it a bear? What

9:59

was this animal? You know and I didn't

10:01

see anything that resembled it other than

10:03

a werewolf

10:05

and I would research different

10:07

movies I Love

11:40

Somebody told me oh, there's

11:42

this movie out about werewolf Is that

11:44

what you saw a dog man soldiers? So

11:47

I put that on and a really

11:50

weird thing happened When I put

11:52

that on the movie stopped and your

11:54

show came up dog

11:55

man encounters

11:57

and that picture of the dog

11:59

man

11:59

And then in the circle, that black

12:02

dog man in the

12:04

circle is almost, almost

12:07

identical to what I saw

12:09

with some slight modifications.

12:13

But I started watching your episodes and

12:16

I knew

12:17

what I saw now. This wasn't a cougar.

12:20

It wasn't, you know, a bear. As

12:22

a matter of fact, there were sightings of

12:25

a bear around that time in

12:27

my community. I take a bus

12:29

to medical appointments and

12:31

I

12:32

was telling everybody I met. I saw a werewolf.

12:35

I saw a werewolf. I saw a werewolf. And

12:38

the guy said, oh no, there were bear sightings

12:40

in this area. It was a bear. I

12:42

said, nah, there was no bear. It

12:44

wasn't a bear. Bears don't leap. They

12:47

put up in the air. This

12:49

was no bear.

12:50

And it's affected me. Yeah,

12:54

when I

12:55

go to bed at night, I go walk along my windows.

12:59

I used to leave my windows open and let

13:01

the air in. Now I locked my windows.

13:04

I shut my windows down. I

13:06

locked my door double padded. I'm

13:09

looking out the windows at night.

13:12

I had come in late. I'll call my daughter

13:14

and say, meet me outside. I don't want to come in

13:16

by myself.

13:17

It puts a fear into you.

13:19

You know, you're afraid, God forbid,

13:23

if I ever would have looked at me, I think I would have passed

13:25

out.

13:26

My episode wasn't

13:28

as

13:29

exciting as a lot of the other ones.

13:32

I don't think I would have survived any of those encounters

13:35

because of that phobia.

13:39

Had an effect.

13:40

Definitely had an effect on me.

13:43

It really is a shame you had to go through all that.

13:46

That's horrible. Talking about

13:48

your encounters, please tell us about them now,

13:50

Liz. Give us every last detail that comes

13:52

to mind.

13:54

Okay, so I used

13:56

to drive everywhere. I don't have a car anymore. My

13:58

car was totaled, so I walked. and

14:01

I don't live close to stores. That's

14:03

Hope Chapel Road is the road that I walk

14:06

down. It's behind my development. This

14:09

whole area is

14:11

surrounded by woods with a few

14:13

houses in here and there. My

14:15

development was cut out of the

14:17

woods so we're surrounded

14:19

by woods and I'm

14:21

a smoker and

14:24

it was getting late and I

14:26

had to get to the store and the closest store is

14:28

a liquor store down Hope Chapel Road.

14:32

So I have to walk out of my

14:34

development

14:35

and my house like I said is backed up

14:37

to the woods so I have to walk all the

14:39

way through the development to get out to the

14:41

road and then you

14:43

go down the back road which is

14:45

woods on both sides woods to the left

14:48

woods to the right.

14:49

Every time I will walk down that road I look

14:51

to the right

14:52

and one day coyote is gonna come out of there and

14:54

bite me I got to find another way to get to where

14:57

I got to go

14:58

and keep walking on. Well this

15:00

day it was a little

15:03

easy day I didn't feel like walking

15:05

I knew I had to go I was running out of

15:07

cigarettes time was clicking

15:09

on the clock and I'm oh my god sun's gonna

15:12

be going down

15:12

soon you better get moving. So

15:15

I left my house and I think it was getting dark

15:17

then early.

15:18

I left my house like

15:19

a quarter to four and I think by four thirty

15:22

quarter to five it's already dark.

15:24

So I'm walking

15:25

out the development and I'm

15:27

walking down this road I got my iPhone

15:29

with me and I'm listening to music and

15:31

I look over in the woods to the right and

15:33

I'm looking and I don't see anything and I'm walking

15:36

and I'm passing the houses and then

15:39

you get into an area

15:40

where there's woods and no houses

15:42

and then maybe 300 foot

15:44

you'll

15:44

find another house way set back.

15:47

I'm walking all the way down and

15:50

I get like maybe a block before

15:52

the liquor store. I'm

15:54

on a corner and I have to cross that corner

15:57

and then there's woods on both sides again

15:59

and that's

15:59

where Coyote ran out one time when

16:02

I was walking way ahead of me

16:04

and went to the other sides of the woods

16:06

right around the same area. Now it's

16:09

a two lane highway. So

16:11

it's called Hope Chapel Road or 571. So

16:16

I'm walking and the traffic's coming but

16:19

it's slowing down now

16:20

because it's getting later.

16:22

There's more traffic on the crossroad

16:24

where the liquor store is and I'm

16:27

walking and it's starting to

16:29

get dim but it's still light out

16:32

and all of a sudden there was

16:35

a cornfield right across from the

16:37

liquor store. There was

16:39

no corn here but it's up on a mount on a

16:41

hill

16:42

and out of the top

16:44

of that hill and it's a, I

16:47

want to mention that the road

16:50

is four lanes. There's two

16:52

lanes when you cross that first street

16:55

and the next block before the liquor store,

16:58

there's two lanes and a soft shoulder

17:00

to the road on both sides. So

17:02

like maybe five foot

17:04

on one side and six foot on the other, a soft

17:06

shoulder, then

17:07

two lanes on both sides. So

17:09

it's a wide space.

17:12

So I'm clearing the woods, I come to the corner

17:15

and out of the top of that cornfield

17:18

comes this animal flying

17:22

from the hill.

17:24

When I'm staring at it, it landed

17:26

in the middle of the road

17:28

and then it leaped and went into

17:30

the woods on the other side but this all occurred

17:33

like slow motion. I

17:36

saw it jump out and it stood

17:38

in the road for a minute or two and then

17:41

it leaped up and went into the air and I was

17:43

trying to grasp in

17:45

my head

17:47

what I was saying because I got a side

17:49

profile of it

17:51

and I

17:54

stopped dead of my tracks, just

17:56

stood there.

17:59

It was like time to go. stood still. Like

18:03

I was in another

18:03

reality. Another,

18:05

I just stood there

18:08

in shock, staring at

18:10

it.

18:11

It jumped up in the air

18:14

and leaped. I

18:16

don't know how high it went. It went high into

18:18

the sky with its front legs

18:21

or arms stretched out and

18:23

its back legs stretched

18:25

out. At that point,

18:27

I was scanning its body and

18:29

it was looking straight ahead as

18:31

if it was chasing something. So

18:34

it didn't see me, but I saw it. As

18:36

soon as it came out, I stood

18:38

dead still

18:40

and I stopped breathing

18:41

and then I moved a muscle. I

18:43

just, staring at it

18:46

and I started scanning its body

18:48

from its head

18:50

to the back of its body.

18:54

It had a dog's face,

18:57

like the muzzle of either

18:59

a bear or a dog.

19:00

A long muzzle like a dog.

19:04

It was jet black, shiny fur.

19:06

It

19:07

had hair, not

19:10

hair, like a mane was a little longer

19:12

on its head. Its ears were

19:14

pointed straight up.

19:16

His shoulders

19:18

were massive. His chest was

19:21

massive like a bodybuilder. Broad

19:25

shoulders, a real big,

19:29

big chest going straight

19:31

across and his chest stood

19:33

out and his stomach was up high.

19:37

By the waist, it was thin and then

19:39

the back legs, I didn't notice a tail,

19:41

but I was trying to scan its body

19:44

as it was going to get every detail

19:46

of what I was seeing. The legs

19:48

didn't look right

19:51

to me. It didn't look right to

19:53

me like there was something off about the legs.

19:55

It didn't belong

19:57

on a dog. The dog's legs are

19:59

different.

19:59

than that

20:01

and then the legs were stretched out and it seemed

20:03

skinny in the waist and

20:05

there was skin up on the belly

20:09

and the feet were like big like a kangaroo.

20:11

If you were picture a kangaroo's foot being

20:14

flat on the ground, the feet were

20:16

big and the legs

20:18

were like thighs not

20:20

like an animal like the dog

20:23

animal.

20:24

I didn't see if it had claws or nothing because

20:26

I didn't have time to scan his body. I

20:30

was scanning it

20:31

and then when it just came

20:34

from that cornfield, stood

20:36

in the middle of the road, a side profile

20:38

just like that picture then it leaked

20:41

up

20:41

into the air and flew

20:43

across three lanes and

20:45

landed in the woods, not on the edge

20:47

of the woods, in the woods and it was

20:49

gone. I realized

20:51

at that

20:53

point I was going

20:56

I wasn't breathing. I

20:58

was like just standing

21:00

there in awe and

21:02

in shock and it was like as if

21:05

time stood still and

21:08

I said out loud, I took a step

21:10

back and I said to myself, did

21:12

I just see a werewolf?

21:15

I mean I didn't know what to think. I

21:17

didn't know

21:18

how to process what I saw and

21:21

I didn't know what to do.

21:23

It was going to be dark at any minute

21:26

and I was closer to the store

21:28

than

21:29

I was to going home and

21:32

it seemed as if it was chasing

21:35

something, it was preoccupied

21:36

and I didn't think about this until later.

21:39

It knew when the traffic was gone, it

21:42

had intelligence to know

21:45

when to come out of that embankment.

21:47

It knew there

21:49

was no traffic at that point because the

21:51

way it dodged that is at the top

21:53

of that

21:54

embankment which I'd say

21:57

when you're walking past it, it's about six foot

21:59

high.

22:00

The dirt mount is up high

22:02

and that's where the cornfield was.

22:05

It just came flying

22:07

out of there. It

22:09

stood in the middle of the street and then leaped

22:11

up in the air, flying through

22:13

the air.

22:16

I was like, I couldn't

22:18

believe I saw what I saw. And then

22:20

I didn't know what to do.

the top headlines and reaction to the college

23:39

Chiefs go for dynasty mode with Patrick Mahomes,

23:41

Travis Kelsey and Andy Reid. They're the favorite, right?

23:44

Yeah, they have to be. The AFC goes through Arrowhead

23:46

but the Bengals and Jets, they're all in to reach

23:48

Vegas. And the Bills and Dolphins are

23:50

also confident. Whitrow, what about college football?

23:53

Can you say three, Pete? That's what they're hoping to

23:55

say in Athens, Georgia. The Bulldogs continue

23:58

their march to college football dominance. While

a cast of usual characters led by Michigan,

Ohio State and Bama nip at their heels.

24:24

Do I go home? No,

24:27

it's gonna be dark by the time I get down there.

24:29

What if it goes back? All kinds of thoughts were going

24:31

through my head. Oh, no, it's probably chasing

24:33

something

24:34

and didn't even see you. So just

24:36

go to the stores closer. As I'm thinking

24:39

all these things in my head. So

24:42

I

24:42

decided to go to the store

24:44

and I'm looking at the store

24:46

and the sun is five foot

24:47

over the roof of the building. I know once I

24:49

got in that store and came out it was gonna be pitch

24:51

black out and there's very poor lighting

24:54

and

24:54

to come out of

24:56

there in the pitch black I

24:59

had to either make a choice to

25:01

walk back down the same way I came which

25:03

I didn't want to do. What

25:05

if it decided to come back or?

25:08

Well going the other way wasn't a good option

25:10

either because

25:11

now I have to walk back home the same

25:13

way it was running. But anyway, I get

25:15

to in the whisker store and they

25:17

must have thought I was drunk coming back for more

25:19

booze

25:20

to buy my cigarettes because I was

25:22

like,

25:23

I just saw a werewolf. You're

25:25

not gonna believe this. I just saw a werewolf coming

25:27

out of that where

25:28

that cornfield used to be. You

25:30

better be careful when you go to your car

25:32

and I can't believe I

25:34

just saw that. I just saw it looked like a werewolf

25:37

and they're looking at me like I have ten eyes, you

25:39

know,

25:40

but now I gotta leave

25:42

and I gotta walk home and I'm like, oh my

25:44

god, there was no one to call no one around. I

25:47

didn't have

25:48

Uber on my phone.

25:50

I couldn't call for a taxi. I'm

25:52

like, what am I gonna do?

25:54

Well, you better just hope and pray you

25:56

make it home

25:57

and I never walked so fast in my

25:59

life.

25:59

if I swear I was in a marathon race. I

26:02

walked like the devil was behind me. I

26:04

just kept walking and walking.

26:05

And then I had to make a left turn

26:08

when I finally got

26:09

to a street, which was pretty far from

26:11

where I was, both sides

26:13

woods,

26:15

get left and walk down a road

26:18

that has houses

26:20

right next to each other. So if I would have went the other

26:22

way, would have been a long time before

26:24

I got to a house and the house was set back. So

26:27

what was I gonna do if I saw it? I probably

26:30

never would have made it to the door anyway.

26:32

And I made a left turn at that street and

26:34

I started walking home and all

26:36

the dogs

26:39

in that area that were

26:41

living in those houses, I was walking past, were

26:43

barking. And I'm thinking, oh my

26:46

God, is this thing, are they

26:48

barking because this is in the area? Are

26:50

they barking because I'm walking? I

26:53

got to my development and I went

26:55

into, well, we have a clubhouse. And

26:58

I went into the bathroom, washed my face, tried

27:00

to like recover from walking

27:02

nine million miles an hour,

27:05

waited a few minutes thinking in my head, well,

27:07

if this thing is following

27:09

me or watching me or is still around,

27:12

it's gonna think I live here.

27:14

I was thinking all kinds

27:16

of crazy things. I got to get

27:18

home.

27:19

And I still had a little ways

27:21

to go to get to my house

27:24

and in the house I went.

27:25

And I was calling

27:27

everybody and telling everybody about what I

27:29

saw, but

27:31

when you see something like that, it

27:34

takes time

27:34

to even process that you saw

27:36

it.

27:37

And I didn't know what I was saying.

27:39

I thought it was a werewolf.

27:41

And I didn't know anything about Dogmen

27:43

at the time. And I think it was like a couple

27:46

of days later

27:46

after

27:47

riding the bus with people I live with in the

27:49

community and talking about it. And

27:53

one guy said, watch Dogmen's Soldiers

27:56

to see if that's what you saw. And

27:58

another lady said, oh, you saw the Jersey.

27:59

devil and I said no this was no bear

28:02

it was no I don't know what it was

28:04

and

28:04

somebody said watch that movie see

28:07

if that's

28:07

what you saw so I'm trying

28:10

to watch werewolf movies to see if I

28:12

could match this animal with anything

28:14

and

28:15

during watching this movie I

28:18

find

28:18

dogmen soldiers I think the name of the movie

28:21

was

28:22

in the middle of the movie stops and

28:25

on the screen pop the music starts playing

28:27

dogman encounters and

28:29

I'm like how did that happen I must have accidentally

28:33

hit my

28:33

remote

28:34

you know and I didn't know what it was I thought

28:37

it was part of the movie or something I didn't know

28:39

and I started watching it and

28:42

I started hearing somebody's encounter

28:44

and I'm like oh my

28:47

god that's what it was that's

28:49

what I saw the dogman

28:52

they're here in New Jersey

28:54

and I kept thinking well see I don't hear anybody

28:57

talking about New Jersey you know maybe I'll hear

29:00

somebody talking about New

29:01

Jersey but listening to other people's stories

29:04

I mean they don't even compare with mine I

29:07

don't know what I would do

29:08

if I was it turned around and looked

29:11

at me yeah I probably

29:13

would have screamed and started running

29:16

I don't know what I would have did it but

29:19

when it happened

29:21

it was as time stood still

29:23

and it wasn't long it didn't take

29:25

long and

29:26

only stood in the street for a

29:28

minute or so and then we then when it

29:30

was in midair it was

29:32

like everything was in slow

29:34

motion I was standing perfectly

29:36

still

29:37

scanning its body from its

29:39

nose

29:41

to its backside

29:42

and its legs were stretched out and

29:45

its arms were stretched out I didn't have

29:47

time to see the claws

29:49

or the hands I didn't see that I

29:52

just saw his chest and

29:54

his

29:55

shoulders I'm massive

29:59

and I was trying to figure out how tall was

30:01

that? How big was that? I matched

30:03

that up

30:03

against and there's a stop sign on

30:05

the corner.

30:07

It was bigger than the stop sign and

30:11

I was telling

30:12

people about it because they thought I was crazy. I

30:15

did not stop talking about this

30:17

ever since it happened

30:20

and then I started thinking and telling my

30:22

daughter and my daughter

30:24

says, I don't believe you. I don't believe you.

30:26

I have to see it to believe it and I said, I

30:28

swear to God I saw this. It's a real

30:31

animal. It's not a man that turns into a

30:33

werewolf into the middle of the night.

30:35

When the moon is full, it's an

30:38

animal. It was an animal

30:41

and the way it

30:41

was beautiful, the color of it was beautiful.

30:44

It was like a shiny

30:46

black like a cougar

30:49

but

30:49

the shape of its body

30:52

and that slight hump on its

30:54

back,

30:55

except for that picture that hump

30:56

is bigger than the one I saw. The

30:59

one I saw was a little bit lower on

31:01

its back and the fur around

31:04

the head was a little bit longer,

31:06

kind of like a short mane that

31:08

went slightly over the shoulders and

31:11

the shoulders, the top of the shoulders were

31:13

huge and then I saw

31:15

his under his chest stuck

31:18

out

31:19

and it was wide and

31:21

then it went got real skinny and up high

31:24

towards its belly and

31:26

skinny at the waist and then it

31:29

had like

31:30

by the buttocks area, the leg area,

31:33

it was

31:34

not fat but

31:36

didn't belong on a dog. It didn't

31:38

belong on an animal

31:40

and the legs were stretched

31:42

out long so maybe that's why they look skinny

31:45

but the one I saw didn't have as

31:48

much muscle mass

31:50

in the legs but that could have

31:52

been because it was stretched out and

31:55

I'm telling my daughter this story and she

31:57

knows about all my

31:59

strange things that happened to me.

32:01

And she goes, do you ever think, Ma, that

32:04

maybe you had an encounter

32:05

with this thing before? That's why you had a

32:07

fear, not just because

32:09

of Danny scaring you, but maybe something

32:11

happened. And I thought

32:13

back to when I was a kid, I did have an

32:15

experience. My mother, I was about 11

32:18

years old,

32:19

my mother had a had back surgery

32:22

and it was a serious surgery. So

32:25

my father sent me over to my mother's

32:27

brother, my

32:27

uncle's house, to stay there

32:30

for a while until my mother came

32:32

back from the hospital and the

32:34

surgery was real serious. And

32:36

my father told me my mother could be paralyzed

32:38

if the surgery doesn't go right. So

32:41

that night over my uncle's house,

32:44

I slept in my cousin's room. She

32:47

was younger than Meg.

32:48

And I

32:49

had to stay there for about a week. It was the summertime.

32:53

And there was a window on the second floor with

32:55

the curtain, the wind blowing, and

32:58

the curtain was blowing in and out

33:01

of the window.

33:03

And I'm laying in bed and

33:05

I'm thinking about my mother and what will life

33:07

be if my mother was not able to walk

33:09

anymore and I was worried about her.

33:12

I couldn't sleep, I was trying to sleep, but I

33:14

couldn't sleep worrying about her.

33:16

And I turned on my side and I

33:18

looked at my cousin, which was in a twin

33:20

bed and laying next to me.

33:22

And I was laughing at her because of the way

33:25

she was sleeping. She had her two arms folded,

33:27

her head

33:29

on her arms and her butt sticking

33:31

straight up in the air with her legs

33:33

underneath her stomach. And I'm

33:34

looking at her laughing, how does this kid

33:37

sleep like that?

33:38

And I was uncomfortable trying

33:41

to sleep. So I turned

33:43

facing the window and there was

33:45

this thing

33:46

over the bed

33:49

with these claws and these

33:52

teeth open

33:53

and kind of smiling

33:55

like they said at me over

33:57

my bed. And I...

33:59

I screamed bloody murder and

34:02

put my head in my pillow and my blanket

34:04

over my head,

34:06

and

34:07

my aunt came running in the room,

34:10

and she said, you're dreaming, you're

34:12

dreaming, wake up. Well, she had to pry

34:14

me out of that pillow. I was not giving that

34:16

pillow up.

34:17

I was screaming, get it away from

34:19

me, get it away from me.

35:53

As I go back and I think about things

35:55

like, have I had other

35:57

encounters and never realized it.

36:00

You know, because I heard a story that it

36:02

climbed up a building and it

36:04

was on a rooftop and

36:07

in my development, I have a cousin

36:09

that lives

36:10

here because I would

36:11

go back and think and think.

36:14

My cousin lives here and

36:16

I used to ride a bicycle

36:18

because I don't have a car

36:20

and I left the bicycle on her porch and

36:22

I went over to get the bicycle and we were sitting

36:24

outside smoking, talking

36:26

and then I was going to take the bike and go.

36:28

She went back into the house, locked the door,

36:30

went in the bathroom.

36:32

I didn't know she was in the bathroom because I tried to get in

36:34

a few minutes later and she wasn't opening the door.

36:37

I got the bike and I started to go off

36:39

the porch

36:40

on the bike

36:41

and I heard this growl, this

36:44

deep vibrating growl

36:47

and there's a dog around here

36:49

somewhere. Where's this dog? And I'm looking for

36:51

a dog.

36:53

This was

36:53

before I had the dog man encounter. I'm

36:56

looking under the car. Where's

36:58

this dog? It sounds like it's huge. I

37:00

went back, banging on the door,

37:03

banging on the door, calling her. She's not opening

37:05

the door. I jumped on

37:07

that bicycle like the Witch and the

37:09

Wizard of

37:09

Oz. I was pedaling so fast to

37:12

get away from that area because I

37:14

didn't see it. All I could do was hear it and

37:17

I'm thinking, well,

37:18

was that the dog man?

37:20

I'm like, later on,

37:23

thinking, well,

37:24

I've heard people say that when it growls,

37:27

it vibrates your chest. Well,

37:29

that's kind of how this growl was. It was very

37:32

deep and

37:34

made you think the dog was huge.

37:37

Like I was dealing with a, I don't know, a massive

37:40

somewhere but I couldn't see it. Never

37:43

dawned

37:43

on me. Maybe it was on the roof

37:44

or maybe it was in the woods. Maybe

37:47

it was there and I didn't see it. Like

37:49

I said, I used

37:50

to walk around here all the time. I did

37:52

a lot of walking

37:53

to stores that were further than the liquor store

37:56

at night, coming home with the woods on both

37:58

sides, having a creepy. feeling

38:00

like something is watching me the

38:02

entire time I walked

38:04

and that was miles from here.

38:06

You know just going back and back and when

38:09

I was a kid I wouldn't

38:10

sleep in my room unless I drew

38:12

the curtains. I used to hear

38:15

tapping

38:15

on my glass window

38:16

when I was younger

38:18

and that was in the same town where I had that

38:21

episode over

38:22

my aunt's house. Now the logical thing is

38:25

I did fall asleep and it was a nightmare

38:27

I'll never know

38:29

but after hearing all these stories

38:31

they'd more kind of in

38:34

line with the dog man

38:36

that I never knew existed until

38:38

that day and it

38:40

could be that I was just afraid and

38:43

I did fall asleep in my imagination

38:45

because of fear I'll never know but

38:48

I did hear a growl over my cousin's house

38:50

which isn't far from where my house

38:52

is in the same development

38:55

which is right up against those woods

38:57

that is at that highway so

39:00

right behind those woods is Hope

39:02

Chapel Road of 571 where it came

39:05

out of and then

39:07

I heard stories

39:09

that

39:10

the dog man has

39:11

been seen in Jackson at an old abandoned

39:13

brick factory. So

39:16

it's in this area my daughter

39:18

tells me a story she went to Wawa

39:20

which is another story around here

39:22

and the kids ride those dirt bikes back

39:25

in the woods in the summertime you can hear the motors

39:27

running and then going back in the woods with

39:29

it. She said

39:31

these two kids came in the Wawa

39:34

and wanted them to call the police because

39:36

a werewolf chased them out of the woods

39:39

and she came home and told me that night she

39:42

goes my oh you want apology. So

39:46

after hearing all these other stories and

39:48

realizing exactly

39:51

what it was

39:53

it's just made me in

39:55

a way it's

39:56

good because I know what I'm dealing with

39:58

but

40:00

This animal

40:00

is like I would compare

40:03

it to walking in the Serengeti

40:06

without

40:07

being in your Jeep and coming

40:10

across a tiger

40:12

or a rhino.

40:14

It's big, it's powerful, it's

40:16

real, it's flesh and blood, it's

40:19

an animal and animals can be

40:21

unpredictable. So that's

40:23

the fear behind it. It's unpredictable

40:26

but the view I got of it wasn't

40:29

very threatening because I didn't think it saw

40:31

me but then I thought well maybe

40:33

it followed me

40:35

as I was walking down that road.

40:38

Maybe it was aware I was there

40:41

and it came out right in

40:43

front of me to let me know it was there.

40:46

I didn't feel threatened by it because it

40:48

didn't look at me and I didn't think

40:51

it saw me. The good thing

40:53

is

40:54

I know there's no such things as

40:56

I

40:57

don't believe in windigos,

40:58

men turning into werewolves and

41:01

it's taught me a lesson that there's so much we

41:04

don't know about the world that we're living in. What

41:07

else is out there? Yeah,

41:10

it's like werewolves are real

41:13

but it's an animal. It's not a man

41:15

that

41:16

turns into a wolf when the moon

41:18

is full. It's not all that

41:20

spooky stuff. It's a real

41:23

animal. I thought it was beautiful when I saw

41:25

it

41:26

because it was magnificent. It was like

41:28

so powerful. I wouldn't sit

41:30

on my back porch anymore. I

41:33

used to go out and sit on the back porch at night,

41:36

smoke my cigarettes, watch movies on

41:38

my phone, my iPad. I

41:40

won't do that no more because it could come

41:43

from the middle of those woods and be on

41:45

my back deck in seconds. Super

41:49

fast, super powerful. That's

41:52

the scary thing about it is that

41:56

we're not the top of

41:58

the food chain.

41:59

And when you look at this, you know,

42:02

you're not the top of the food chain anymore. There's

42:04

something out there bigger and better than you

42:07

as a human.

42:09

But, you know, I've heard stories, episodes

42:12

where that one guy killed it.

42:14

And I don't know if that's true or not,

42:16

but

42:17

he said he killed it. He went in there to

42:19

get a second look at it and he winds up hunting

42:22

it down and killing it now

42:24

that broke my heart. I won't want to see them.

42:27

People going out trying to kill them

42:29

or like I said, I'm an animal

42:31

lover. It's an animal. It's just an

42:33

animal. That's scary thing

42:35

is animals can be unpredictable.

42:39

I know it has some form of intelligence

42:41

because it knew when to come out. Like

42:44

there was a car that went in a car that

42:46

went and then the traffic slowed down and when

42:48

there was no traffic on either side

42:50

of the road, it came out.

42:54

So it was, it knew when

42:56

to come out.

42:57

I thought it was chasing something.

43:00

So it was preoccupied.

43:02

It didn't notice me.

43:04

So that's the only thing that made me

43:06

go forward. So I thought that it's

43:09

probably long gone. But

43:11

when you're walking in the dark, you're hoping it's long

43:13

gone. You don't know, is it around? You know,

43:15

all these sorts are going

43:17

through your head as you're going home.

43:20

And sometimes I think I'd like to see

43:22

it at a long distance to get a better

43:24

look at it. But then again, people

43:26

said that the faces were scary. Some

43:28

of them look like hyenas. And I

43:31

know there's different types from watching the show,

43:33

but I don't know what the different types are

43:36

anyway. I've been trying to forget about

43:38

it because I'm

43:39

obsessed about it

43:41

over the last year and a half couldn't get it

43:43

out of my mind. They haven't had any nightmares, but

43:46

I still get a little spooked and shut

43:48

my windows. I walked my windows. I don't sleep

43:50

with the

43:52

windows open anymore.

43:55

Like I said, I'm a little free to go out

43:58

to my car at night. If I hear a.

43:59

branch

44:01

cracked behind me and I'm holding

44:03

my breath, I'm looking over my shoulder.

44:06

That's the kind of fear it could put into you when

44:08

you see it because it's bigger and better than you

44:11

and that's the fear. It's bigger

44:14

and better than you. So

44:17

you just don't know.

44:19

And that's

44:20

the thing that scares me. You just don't know.

44:22

I mean, it didn't hurt me. It could have

44:24

swept my head off in

44:27

a flash. I mean, it

44:29

could have seen me or where

44:32

it followed me on the way home.

44:34

I don't know these things, but

44:36

all these other

44:38

things that happened to me kind of sit

44:40

in line with the dog man.

44:43

And then I said, well,

44:45

being in a suburban area,

44:48

maybe that was a dream. But then I've heard

44:50

a story about it being in an apartment

44:53

development, were high rise apartment buildings.

44:55

These two kids playing basketball

44:58

and jumping on the roof.

45:00

It was on the roof. Another

45:02

woman that said she saw it on her balcony.

45:04

She lived way high up on the, it

45:06

could scale up the wall.

45:09

I believe it could jump. My roof

45:11

is what, maybe eight

45:14

foot,

45:15

nine foot.

45:16

And the roof is there. It's in a, what

45:19

do they call that? A ranch. I live in a ranch house.

45:23

So the roof isn't far from

45:25

the ground.

45:26

So when I was over my cousin's house,

45:28

hers is lined up against the lid right

45:31

up behind that highway where we saw it. And

45:33

then my daughter's girlfriend owns a farm

45:36

in Jackson

45:37

and they've been having sightings of

45:40

the dog man over there. It's killed chickens

45:42

in the barn.

45:44

I told her to get in touch with you, Vic,

45:46

and tell her your story, but

45:49

that's about it, but

45:51

something else you really never forget.

45:54

Oh, I'm sure you never will forget it.

45:57

I love Mondays.

45:59

If you've had a dogman encounter and would like to

47:30

speak with me about it, whether in private or on

47:32

the show, please go to dogmanencounters.com

47:36

and submit a report. If you've

47:38

had a Bigfoot sighting and would like to be a guest

47:40

on one of my two Bigfoot shows, please

47:42

go to mybigfootsighting.com

47:45

and let me know. Please

47:47

don't lose sight of the fact, Liz, that the fact

47:49

that you're still here intact, unharmed,

47:52

has nothing to do with you locking your windows

47:55

and locking your doors and closing your windows

47:57

at night and not sitting out on

47:59

the porch. and all the things you've done, you're

48:02

here because it doesn't want to harm you.

48:04

If it wanted to harm you, none of those

48:07

things would have stopped it. But the good

48:09

news is, like I told you the first time

48:11

we spoke, it's proven with its own

48:13

actions that it doesn't want to harm you. I'm

48:16

not going to say all dogmen are safe to be around,

48:18

but that one proved with its own

48:20

actions that it does not want to harm you.

48:23

So please never lose sight of that fact.

48:25

Yeah, that's true. It

48:28

makes me relax when I think about it, but it's

48:30

like, I don't

48:33

know if I want to see it again.

48:34

I don't know. Maybe I should, to

48:36

get out, like they say, that wolfman

48:39

phobia fear. I mean, that followed me

48:41

into my 30s, 30 years old. It

48:43

was still terrified. Just

48:46

turned 70 last week. So

48:49

I'm very active for my age,

48:52

doing all the walking

48:54

I do.

48:55

It's just shocking. You know, in a

48:58

good kind of way, kind of like eliminated

49:01

the phobia and brought it into a real

49:03

living creature. That's

49:05

a nightmare monster.

49:07

This is an animal like a tiger,

49:09

and I love tigers. I think tigers are the

49:11

most magnificent animals I created.

49:14

They're so beautiful.

49:17

When I got a look at this,

49:19

I put that in that category. It was

49:21

beautiful. The color of its fur was

49:23

gorgeous. The creepy

49:26

thing was the slight hump

49:28

on its back, the size of the shoulders.

49:31

And I

49:32

kind of don't, I

49:34

was, when it jumped out of the cornfield,

49:37

it stood in the

49:39

road, but I don't have a clear picture

49:41

of that because I was in complete

49:43

shock

49:45

at that point,

49:46

trying to grasp what

49:49

I was looking at. What am I seeing?

49:52

But when I saw that picture, that was

49:54

what it was.

49:56

But I don't have a clear, crisp

49:58

memory of it because

49:59

my mind was still trying to get behind

50:02

what I was seeing and I

50:04

wasn't dead focused scanning

50:07

its body from every inch

50:09

of this body at that moment because it

50:11

just happened in a flash. But

50:14

that's what it looked like because the

50:16

shape of it is exactly how

50:20

it was. The huge chest, the big

50:22

shoulders.

50:25

Where did you ever see this in your life? You've

50:27

never seen anything. Like growing up you

50:29

went to a farm you saw chickens, cows, goats,

50:31

pigs. You know you go to a safari

50:34

place, a great adventure. You see a giraffe,

50:36

a rhino. You know there's cougars

50:39

and lions and tigers and bears.

50:42

This doesn't fit into

50:44

our knowledge of animals

50:48

but my impression of it

50:50

when I first saw it was it was magnificent

50:54

but creepy because it

50:56

kind of resembled a man from the

50:58

top up. Its chest

51:01

like a bodybuilder.

51:03

Huge

51:05

rib cage

51:06

massive.

51:07

It was nothing that

51:10

exists except for in horror

51:12

movies. You see these in horror movies.

51:16

And it does look like

51:18

nut dog men soldiers they were hairy

51:20

and were matted and not pretty.

51:23

This was perfect. This fair was

51:26

gorgeous. I compare it

51:28

to a little bit longer than a black panther.

51:31

I

51:31

have that black sheen to it and

51:34

I love dogs and I love cats.

51:38

I'm an animal lover

51:39

but if it turned around what I mean, I mean

51:42

I say I think I would have

51:44

passed out.

51:45

I don't think I would

51:47

have handled that

51:48

too good but the point that

51:51

I saw the view of it

51:52

you know it just I was in awe.

51:56

And you feel like time stands still.

51:59

as if you're in a time work

52:02

like

52:03

everything slowed down except

52:06

for my eyeballs scanning that and

52:08

my brain trying to comprehend

52:11

what I was saying

52:12

you're just in shock. It's

52:16

getting shocked

52:18

but you know like I said

52:21

as I've learned about it you

52:23

know I won't want

52:25

to come into a confrontation with it

52:27

I guess it could if

52:29

it wants to get me it could get me

52:31

easily

52:33

I just don't want to put myself

52:35

into position to

52:37

have him make the decision

52:39

so if I stay out

52:42

of its way that that decision won't

52:44

have to be

52:44

made but it could have took me out in a heartbeat

52:47

that night if

52:48

it was still in the area

52:50

and it was following me or watching

52:52

me yeah

52:54

I mean there was no way you

52:57

know I would have been able to get out of that

52:59

no way couldn't get to a door faster

53:02

than they could get to you or

53:05

there was miles that I walked

53:07

that day to get home so and it was pitch

53:10

black out nobody would have seen anything

53:12

I just would have disappeared

53:14

so I think there

53:16

are some of them that might be very dangerous

53:19

and some of them that

53:21

really aren't interested in

53:23

us it's just

53:25

wonder on why they're coming in society

53:28

like they're coming out

53:30

of the woods and I haven't noticed

53:33

I usually see more animals

53:34

back here

53:36

I've seen wild turkeys come

53:38

out of the woods and deer possums

53:42

raccoons I have not seen

53:44

one raccoon I have not seen one turkey

53:47

wild turkey I have not seen deer

53:49

you

53:51

know I'm wondering are they running out of food

53:53

and they're looking

53:55

for food in our communities

53:57

it seems like there's

53:59

more in

53:59

more sightings of them. They're getting bolder

54:02

and bolder and coming into our world more.

54:05

So that in itself is a little scary

54:08

only because of the power behind them.

54:11

Keeping up with cars running next to

54:13

a car. It's

54:15

unbelievable.

54:17

Everything about these guys is scary.

54:20

Yeah, you know, I mean, it's really

54:21

they're very powerful

54:24

animals. I'm just seeing that

54:26

within the first few seconds. I mean, the length

54:29

that it jumped was unbelievable.

54:32

You know, the only animal that would have that kind of

54:34

power and I wouldn't even say I had that much

54:36

power. I don't know how far a tiger could

54:38

leap or a cougar, but this

54:40

the power behind

54:43

it is just

54:45

unbelievable. The strength in it

54:47

and how fast it moves.

54:48

It's just there's

54:51

nothing that we can compare it to.

54:53

I thought cougar, you

54:55

know, maybe a cougar could move that fast,

54:58

but doesn't have the same chest,

55:01

head, same kind of fur,

55:03

maybe a little shorter, same

55:06

color.

55:08

But sometimes I wish I still had space

55:10

and I'm kind of glad I didn't because

55:12

I'm sure if you

55:15

did get to see the eyes, you'd never get that

55:17

out of your head. You

55:19

just never get

55:21

it out of your mind

55:23

to see those teeth and if the

55:25

eyes that they saw. I don't

55:27

know. I think I would have they would have had a somebody

55:31

would have found me lying on the side of the road

55:33

out cold. I think if it turned

55:35

around and I saw that, I

55:38

think I would have went out cold.

55:40

No doubt.

55:42

And then again, I don't know.

55:44

And maybe I wouldn't know because like I

55:47

said, it kind of took the phobia away.

55:49

Not a monster, a Hollywood produced monster.

55:53

It's a real animal

55:55

and it exists in our world.

55:58

We'll just have to learn how to

56:00

Find out more about it and hope

56:04

that it doesn't want us.

56:07

I don't know.

56:08

Try to process it. It's really

56:11

hard to process.

56:13

It normally is. And that makes

56:15

two of us who are so glad that it didn't turn

56:17

a look at you. I

56:19

think I would have went out cold.

56:21

Lights out. That's

56:23

it. Game over. If I would have

56:25

saw that growling in my face

56:28

like some of these people that turned a really hard in front

56:30

of you, I think, oh my God.

56:32

I don't know.

56:33

My old fear would have came back like

56:36

the night in the bedroom when I was a kid.

56:38

That was horrific.

56:40

And I swore for years I was

56:43

not sleeping.

56:45

And I was looking in

56:46

books when I was younger because

56:47

maybe it's a

56:49

demon coming from a Catholic background.

56:52

It's a demon. I saw a demon. No,

56:55

that's not what it looked like. Trying

56:58

to figure that out when I was a kid.

57:00

Then the logical explanation is

57:02

I did fall asleep and I had a dream,

57:04

a nightmare.

57:06

What animal is going to jump on a roof and

57:08

come in the window?

57:10

Till you heard dog men encounters and how

57:12

they bother little children and they tap

57:14

on the glass. They've been

57:16

in people's homes. I'm like,

57:18

oh

57:19

my God. Was that real?

57:22

Who knows? Could have been. I

57:24

saw it. I saw the real deal.

57:26

I love

57:29

Mondays. And

57:30

yes, I'm being 100% serious. Why?

58:59

And that's what even made it stranger

59:01

for me because I had

59:03

a phobia my whole life.

59:05

It's like either I'm insane or I

59:07

saw this and I know I'm not crazy.

59:10

I did see this and other

59:13

people have seen the same exact thing. So

59:16

either it's mass hallucination

59:18

or it's happening.

59:20

And I tell my daughter and everybody, don't

59:22

go in the woods. Don't do that.

59:24

Stay out of the woods.

59:26

And that's why I told people,

59:28

stay out of the woods. Why

59:31

take the chance?

59:33

What if you run into one

59:35

that's not friendly?

59:38

You can't escape that.

59:41

I think it'd jump on you and kill you

59:44

just from its size.

59:46

Forget about the claws. Just the size of it

59:48

would knock you out.

59:50

Amazing. It's just, it was amazing.

59:55

Everybody wants to see it after you

59:57

hear the story, but

59:59

if you see it. you're never gonna get it out of your

1:00:07

head. I don't know, you know, makes you wonder about

1:00:09

the world

1:00:10

we're living in. It does make you wonder about the world we

1:00:12

live in. But I'll tell you this though Liz, I

1:00:15

am so glad you're talking about this.

1:00:17

This is never gonna give you the warm and fuzzies but

1:00:19

I'm so glad you are talking about it because

1:00:21

it's all about exposure when it comes to you

1:00:24

healing from these experiences. So, while

1:00:28

comfortable to do so, you are gonna grow

1:00:30

from this. So, please don't lose

1:00:32

sight of that fact. I'm

1:00:34

still unclear on this though. Did

1:00:36

that encounter happen close to the pine bearings

1:00:39

or inside them?

1:00:41

Well, we're part of the pine bearings

1:00:43

but we're not in the middle or like it's

1:00:46

strange. We have a lot of woods. We're

1:00:50

in the pine barren area. I mean,

1:00:52

it is the pine bearings but it's

1:00:55

not deep into the pine bearings. Like,

1:00:58

I know there's a naval base,

1:01:00

Lakehurst Naval Base, the Air Force

1:01:03

is right down the road and that goes

1:01:06

back for, I

1:01:07

think, through another state.

1:01:09

It goes

1:01:11

like far, far back.

1:01:13

The odd thing talking about

1:01:16

the Naval Base is a couple of years

1:01:18

back, I think I told you this before about

1:01:20

the helicopters.

1:01:22

There were helicopters,

1:01:24

black ops helicopters flying

1:01:26

all around in the woods

1:01:29

behind me.

1:01:30

They were there all

1:01:33

day and part of the night with like

1:01:35

these spotlights in the woods, up

1:01:38

and down, back and forth

1:01:39

and there's like a swamp right

1:01:41

behind me.

1:01:43

It's like a stream from a

1:01:45

lake that's been blocked by the beavers.

1:01:47

They put a dam in up

1:01:49

at that lake and

1:01:51

we got like a little stream back

1:01:53

here and it's very swampy back

1:01:55

there.

1:01:57

Somebody that lived in this development years

1:01:59

ago went

1:01:59

walking in there, I never came out.

1:02:02

They couldn't find them. I remember

1:02:04

when I moved in, my neighbor told me, don't go walking

1:02:07

back in those woods. What did I do? I went walking

1:02:09

back in those woods when I first moved in. I

1:02:12

walked in there for miles. So there's

1:02:14

a lot of woods on these

1:02:16

helicopters. What

1:02:18

we heard was they were surveying the

1:02:20

land, but you know the

1:02:23

Army Black Ops

1:02:25

helicopters? They were

1:02:27

the ones flying

1:02:30

all back in that wooded area and I kept

1:02:32

thinking to myself, they're looking for something.

1:02:36

Or maybe they're playing military war

1:02:38

games or something back there, but that's

1:02:40

not normal. I mean

1:02:42

it was day and night, those helicopters,

1:02:44

the noise, they kept going,

1:02:47

looking for it like that. They don't do that at night,

1:02:49

survey land, and

1:02:51

something was up back there

1:02:53

in those woods. I think they know about

1:02:55

it, but they're not saying anything. They're not

1:02:57

letting the public know about it. I think there's

1:02:59

something going on

1:03:02

with the military and these

1:03:04

animals. I don't know, but

1:03:07

it was strange. I thought that was strange and

1:03:09

that was long before my encounter, a couple

1:03:11

years before my encounter.

1:03:13

As far as the Pine Barrens go, there's

1:03:16

Where

1:03:16

Town, it

1:03:20

was at Whiting,

1:03:22

very heavily wooded area. I was

1:03:25

gonna make a video of the area and send

1:03:27

it to you. How there's

1:03:29

like miles of woods that

1:03:31

go back. Jackson, it

1:03:33

goes all the way down to Atlantic

1:03:36

City,

1:03:37

past Atlantic City. That's

1:03:40

the Pine Barrens.

1:03:41

This is like

1:03:43

we're

1:03:44

in the Pine Barrens, but the beginning

1:03:47

of the Pine Barrens,

1:03:48

not the end of it,

1:03:50

like the middle of it or the midst of it,

1:03:52

we're on the beginning of

1:03:54

it. Then as you

1:03:57

go, continue, you're deep into

1:03:59

the Pines. If you keep going

1:04:01

piss waiting and down

1:04:04

that way then you're into the midst of the pine

1:04:06

tuppertin and not far

1:04:08

from us. Tuppertin

1:04:11

and that's the pine barrens. Yeah

1:04:14

they say the Jersey Devils in there. That's

1:04:16

what everybody was telling me. I saw the Jersey Devil.

1:04:19

So this was the Jersey Devil. It was an

1:04:21

animal. Looked like a wolf. Looked

1:04:24

like a werewolf. Looked exactly

1:04:26

like a werewolf.

1:04:29

But less scary. Not a monster.

1:04:32

An animal. The

1:04:34

only thing scary about it is it looks part man,

1:04:37

part human. The body. The chest.

1:04:40

The shoulders. The

1:04:42

stomach looked like the dog's stomach.

1:04:45

You know how a dog has skin on its

1:04:47

stomach?

1:04:49

The stomach was like a beige tan

1:04:51

color

1:04:52

up high. Almost

1:04:56

like a, what kind of a dog is it?

1:04:59

A Doberman pincher where

1:05:02

the chest is out and then the stomach

1:05:04

is up high and

1:05:05

it's got a skinny waist. That's the

1:05:07

kind of angle like it

1:05:09

was skinny in the waist area up

1:05:12

high and its chest was

1:05:14

out massive. And I'm like oh

1:05:17

my god. So

1:05:19

we're part of the Pine Barrens I'd say. Yeah.

1:05:22

I said we're part of the Pine Barrens.

1:05:24

The Pine Barrens sure are a strange place.

1:05:26

It really is hard to see what you might run

1:05:29

into in that place and I guess you

1:05:31

found out the hard way about that.

1:05:33

Well yeah. I mean you know you hear

1:05:35

all kinds of crazy things and that

1:05:38

weird New Jersey tells all kinds of backwoods

1:05:40

stories and stuff.

1:05:42

And I'm not one to go

1:05:44

looking for that kind of stuff either. Dear

1:05:47

A, I'm just going to the store to get my

1:05:49

cigarettes and bam. I'm

1:05:52

in the midst of a story. It's

1:05:54

just like what else is in this world that

1:05:57

we don't know about. It's just.

1:05:59

living in a different world that I

1:06:02

grew up in,

1:06:03

who knew this animal existed? Like

1:06:06

what other animals are out there? And

1:06:08

you see all these stories on YouTube. I watch

1:06:10

them now.

1:06:11

These other things that are out there and

1:06:13

it's like,

1:06:15

I don't know, you know, I'm a skeptic

1:06:17

too. I don't know if there's a man walking

1:06:20

around that looks like a lizard or somebody that looks

1:06:22

like the goat. I never saw any of that.

1:06:25

But after seeing a werewolf,

1:06:27

who knows what's out there? I mean, it's

1:06:30

just not the same world I

1:06:33

thought I was living in. It's

1:06:35

shocking.

1:06:37

And there's no way to express

1:06:39

the shock of it.

1:06:41

It just doesn't belong in

1:06:43

your vocabulary of your world

1:06:46

that you live in. It doesn't

1:06:48

fit.

1:06:49

It's not normal, you know, it's out

1:06:51

of the norm.

1:06:53

But like they say, they've been around

1:06:55

since the 1800s and beyond. And

1:06:59

they're on every continent

1:07:01

and they're all over the place.

1:07:03

That there was a story

1:07:05

I'd found after seeing

1:07:08

this and hearing about the

1:07:10

Beast of Briar Road and

1:07:13

all different stories. So this thing has been

1:07:15

seen all over the place. And I thought only, well,

1:07:18

maybe in Wisconsin, you know, but never

1:07:20

in New Jersey. And I'm

1:07:23

like waiting for other people to come on the show

1:07:25

that are from New Jersey and

1:07:27

tell their story because they're definitely

1:07:30

here.

1:07:31

And so I don't know if they travel like from

1:07:33

state to state or.

1:07:36

And it seems to be that there's a lot of them.

1:07:39

I mean, it's not like.

1:07:41

One or two, they go on

1:07:43

packs because

1:07:45

Leanne said that these kids,

1:07:47

they're being seen by the

1:07:49

old abandoned brick factory, it's

1:07:51

called in Jackson. And I'm

1:07:53

on the cusp of Lakers, Jackson,

1:07:55

Whiting, right on the cusp

1:07:58

of all of them, which is the beginning of. the

1:08:00

Pine Barrens.

1:08:01

So it's a

1:08:03

lot of pine lands here. A lot.

1:08:06

I'm not sure if you knew it, but about three or four shows

1:08:08

ago, a guest came on and talked about

1:08:11

encounters he had in the Pine Barrens

1:08:13

as well.

1:08:14

Oh, really?

1:08:15

Yeah, his name is Mike Hallantonio. He's

1:08:18

a good man and if you want, I can put you

1:08:20

into contact with him. Yeah,

1:08:22

that'd be great. Absolutely.

1:08:25

I like to hear somebody else from my area

1:08:27

because you feel alone. I know,

1:08:29

well, she said these kids.

1:08:32

And when the kids came in, the clerk

1:08:34

had said, oh, that's a dog man. He

1:08:37

knew about it.

1:08:39

So she goes, yeah, the clerk told him it's

1:08:41

a dog man. Watch dog man encounters.

1:08:43

See Vic?

1:08:45

Words out. I guess

1:08:47

it is. Yeah. Sounds

1:08:49

like he did know. The

1:08:51

clerk, yeah, knew all about you.

1:08:53

He said, oh, it's dog man.

1:10:00

not boring

1:10:07

Sorry we were looking for

1:10:10

chumba casino That's

1:10:13

right Style

1:10:16

games

1:10:23

I

1:10:28

Told the police officer my daughter got

1:10:30

stopped.

1:10:31

I forget what we're not planting our windshield

1:10:33

wipers on one night

1:10:35

Coming home and then I said to the cop have you

1:10:37

heard any reports about any animals? It's

1:10:40

like it was never off of my mind

1:10:42

It's there as part

1:10:44

of me now this experience. It's

1:10:46

like when I was a kid that stayed

1:10:49

with me forever This is gonna stay with

1:10:51

me until the end. I think I'll get

1:10:53

all the answers, but I'm not around anymore when

1:10:56

I move on to other pastures, I'll have

1:10:58

all the answers but

1:11:00

There's just a lot about this world. We don't

1:11:02

know about we don't know what's right here

1:11:05

I

1:11:05

don't know if they were modified animals

1:11:07

by the government But

1:11:10

they say they've been around since the 1800s, right? I

1:11:14

Don't know. I don't know if it's an experiment

1:11:17

if the government is producing them

1:11:19

I'm in the helicopter thing that happened

1:11:21

like going back a couple of years ago was kind

1:11:23

of strange I thought that

1:11:25

was strange when it was happening like that's

1:11:28

not

1:11:28

what they're doing. They're not surveying

1:11:30

Why are they doing this at night?

1:11:32

Why they pick spotlights

1:11:33

out over there? What are they looking for? If

1:11:36

somebody kills somebody they're looking for somebody

1:11:38

in the woods Yeah, all kinds

1:11:40

of things run through your mind. That was weird,

1:11:43

but

1:11:43

then I connected to that, you know Well, maybe

1:11:45

they were looking for them maybe

1:11:47

they know that they're in the area

1:11:50

and they shouldn't be in here or

1:11:52

maybe they're training down or I need

1:11:54

to go kinds of crazy things because try make

1:11:57

sense out of what you saw and

1:11:59

you just

1:11:59

can't get any answers you know you just it's

1:12:02

just an animal but why does it look

1:12:04

like a man no man unless it's I

1:12:07

don't believe in Darwin's theory of evolution

1:12:10

so

1:12:12

is it evolving from an animal

1:12:14

into a man type yet all kinds

1:12:17

of things

1:12:17

go through your head trying to figure out

1:12:19

what was that

1:12:21

why is it in society

1:12:25

is it from this planet

1:12:26

all kinds of things maybe

1:12:29

it's from another planet I don't think

1:12:30

it's from another dimension where it flips

1:12:33

in between

1:12:34

dimensions but who knows

1:12:37

you don't know you just don't know

1:12:39

well I know is I saw it and

1:12:42

it was real and it was a living

1:12:44

breathing animal not somebody

1:12:47

that turned into a wolf

1:12:49

I don't know

1:12:51

crazy world

1:12:53

yes it is it's a lot

1:12:55

crazier than most of us are ever gonna know

1:12:57

too huh so yeah that's a fact

1:13:01

well what's about time for us to get out of here Liz

1:13:03

but before we do do you have any closing comments

1:13:05

you'd like to share if

1:13:08

you decide to go in the woods

1:13:12

don't be alone and don't

1:13:12

be far from your for stay

1:13:16

out of the woods if possible I don't

1:13:19

want to

1:13:20

cramp on anybody's fun

1:13:22

or anything but you

1:13:24

know I tell everybody don't go in there because

1:13:26

you just don't know

1:13:27

you just don't know and that's

1:13:30

the whole thing like you can't go walking around

1:13:32

in the middle of Africa

1:13:35

without protection

1:13:37

there's things that you just don't do you don't

1:13:40

go swimming where there's crocodiles

1:13:43

it has it hurt anybody it's hurt

1:13:45

very few people but

1:13:47

who's to know if you're gonna run into

1:13:49

a good one or a bad one you don't know

1:13:52

until it happens and if it happens

1:13:55

you are not gonna get out of it

1:13:58

there's the apex predator or not you. You

1:14:01

know unless you're packing a gun that

1:14:04

would put it to sleep which I'd hate

1:14:06

to think that because they have a right to live too.

1:14:09

You know I hate hunting. That drives

1:14:11

me crazy when people go kill animals. I mean they

1:14:13

do for food source or whatever but

1:14:16

I'm like an animal lover not so

1:14:18

it's like they have a right to live and breathe.

1:14:20

They're

1:14:21

here too.

1:14:23

If you do see one,

1:14:25

keep your distance.

1:14:26

Don't show any fear and

1:14:29

just be safe. That's all. Just

1:14:31

be safe.

1:14:32

Don't panic.

1:14:34

Easier said than done. Yeah like

1:14:37

I would. Yeah a lot easier

1:14:39

said than done. Well

1:14:42

Liz I can't thank you enough for coming

1:14:44

on and sharing the details of those experiences

1:14:46

with us. I really appreciate it.

1:14:49

Thank you Vic for letting me come on the

1:14:51

show and thank

1:14:53

all the other people that call in because

1:14:55

at least I knew what

1:14:56

I saw after seeing

1:14:58

your show you know

1:15:01

and it was fun. So

1:15:03

I'll let you know if I see it again.

1:15:05

I hope not but I

1:15:08

hope not too.

1:15:11

Yeah

1:15:12

at a distance you know

1:15:14

I wouldn't mind seeing it at a very

1:15:16

far distance

1:15:18

where I could leave if I wanted at any time

1:15:21

but

1:15:22

that it was an experience.

1:15:24

Oh I'm sure it was that

1:15:26

it was. Well thanks

1:15:29

again so much for your time and have

1:15:31

a great night.

1:15:32

You too Vic.

1:15:34

Thanks we'll see ya.
