STL Joesph Garcia Unit is a High-Risk Special Operations and Mitigation Unit responding to Prison and Jails High Intensity Inmate Situations. They are a full time unit that can be deployed to any of over 3000 jails / Prisons in the US. The Unit has also deployed to strategic international agencies prison systems all over the world, they are a Tier 1 Corrections Special Operations Unit.
The unit was the first in the US to implement and use Flashlights and Green Lasers to direct K9’S. STL (Senior Team Leader) Joseph Garcia developed the training and standards for this program and developed with the help of K9 Specialists from around the world the new standard for Corrections Special Ops K9’s program. STL (Senior Team Leader) Joseph Garcia developed the physical development program for the CSO K9 Program.  He has worked with units from around the world.
