Greg Ellis is a former professional football player for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders with 12 years of experience in the NFL. After leaving professional sports, Greg transitioned to playwriting, founding a multi-media agency and studio company called Play Now Enterprise.
Greg has a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was recognized as the first sophomore to be named first-team All-ACC since Reuben Davis in 1985.
When young football players join the National Football League (NFL), very few of them think about their future after leaving professional sports. They get lost in the anticipation of fame and success and forget to invest time in their other interests.
But that was not the case for Greg Ellis, who went into football knowing that one day it would be over. With this in mind, Greg spent the offseason getting involved in the arts, starting his current multi-media agency and studio company Play Now Enterprise while still playing with the Dallas Cowboys.
This week on Dr. Stephens Speaks podcast, Dr. Chad Stephens talks to Greg Ellis about transitioning to the arts after leaving his career in the NFL. Greg discusses his long-time interest in both the arts and football, his advice for professional athletes just starting out, and how he achieves his RTP life. Stay tuned.
