Maya Mitchell is a 27-year young professional and budding entrepreneur who is passionate about educating millennials on freedom through real estate investing. Born and raised in Prince George's County MD, Maya returned home after college and purchased her first piece of real estate right in her community. She was passionate about setting the example and educating her community on the power that real estate investment holds. Thus, Maya created the first-of-its-kind platform, Ms. Young Homeowner, a resource and community for black millennial women navigating the homebuying process and homeownership. Ms. Young Homeowner has grown nearly twelve times its size since inception two years ago.
