On this episode we kick off the Summer of Cocktails by making and sampling an Easy Street while discussing the whiskey cave set up, that one guy in Poughkeepsie, cocktail season and seasonal cocktails, asking for cocktail book recommendations, gin forward drinks, the importance of garnish, dried orange slices, fancy cherries, lighting oranges and cinnamon on fire, and why experimentation is the fun of it all. 

Easy Street:

3 cucumber slices

1.5 oz gin

.75 oz lemon juice

1 oz elderflower liqueur 

Muddle all ingredients, add ice, shake, pour into rocks/collins glass, top with club soda, garnish with cuke wheel.
