(Full-disclosure - I'm the host of this show). What I think makes us unique in the horror-movie-review space is that we have a queer and feminist lens for our discussions, and of course our cocktail creations to match the movies we watch. We end every episode with our "Scaredy Facts" trivia section, which we gather from various sources including IMDB and interviews with cast and crew. Give us a chance - you won't regret it!

This is a really fun show! The hosts have amazing chemistry, and I love the way they use music from the movies they're discussing between segments. I actually got, like, residual creep-outs listening to the episode on "It Follows" because the soundtrack is so important to that movie, I kept looking over my shoulder. They have Loud Cheerful Presentational Podcaster Voices, which is kind of a lot to deal with, but always preferable to quiet mumbly voices in my book.

As a boozer and a horror fan this podcast feels made for me! I had a blast reliving some of my favourite horror movies and, let's face it, it's always more fun with a drink in hand.

Char and Kelly discuss great (and not so great) horror movies, from a queer and feminist perspective. It’s like you are having a fab evening out with friends as they describe the story, sharing observations on plot points, trivia and laughs.

Drinking and Screaming is such a fun podcast! Char and Kelly have such great chemistry, they made me smile a lot during this difficult time in the world.The format of reviewing a drink and a movie is a tried and tested formula in podcasting - But don't mess with what works! And the Drinking and Screaming team do it so well.Excellent production, great audio quality and good episode runtimes. They certainly don't fall into the movie podcast trap of running longer than the length of the movie they're reviewing.Just finished listening to the episode about REC - Their analysis was thoughtful, entertaining and engaging. Pretty much the halfway point between film critics and friends chatting to you about the film. Which, let's face it, is the sweet spot.Some good gender theory discussion, as well as links to present day society. Also, the format points really help the flow of the show.Definitely check out this podcast if you love horror, but Char and Kelly are so fun to hang out with you might enjoy this podcast if horror isn't your thing.

Real fun discussions of movies by two very charming hosts. The creativeness of the cocktails that they make to accompany the movie is also a nice creative touch.

Movie review podcasts are not my cup of tea. This one might have made me a convert. Fantastic hosts, well focused on the listener experience, a unique overall premise, and a joy to listen to for audio quality.5 stars. Add it.

As someone who is doesn't consume alcohol or horror movies; Drinking and Screaming is a very easy-access podcast to sit down and enjoy. The energy off of Char and Kelly is just a joy to behold. The enthusiasm and differing opinions, followed by the absolute mushiness of talking about the origin of the IMDB facts segment (it feels heartwarmingly mushy to me) is just wonderful. Whether you love horror movies, or respectfully nod to them as you pass by their posters in the cinemas, Drinking and Screaming is definitely worth the check out!
