Meet Taylor Weech, former host of Praxis on KYRS, co-founder of Keep Spokane Kind Of Gross (shout out to the other co-founder Erika!), and general woman about town. Spokane-born & bred Weech hosted Praxis for 7 years about feminism and social justice. She instructs us on how to keep Spokane kind of gross once she leaves for school and we talk extensively about her recreating Never Been Kissed (despite not really remembering the plot of the movie) with a queer spin on it. We stroll down Memory Lane reminiscing about old obsessions with alternative/college rock/early pop punk bands and the music our parents listened to. Weech has been a solid community activist working within the youth program of PJALs (Peace and Action Justice League) and as a board member. She gushes about how great Gen Z is, analyzes Adam Sandler’s acting caliber, and recounts the horrifying hellscape that is Cats (the movie).
