Hey Dufferin, this is episode 16 of Dufferin’s Spotlight on Business! This week we have Kimberly Van Ryn, the owner of Branching Out Support Services, which is located on 5 First Street in Orangeville! Through Branching Out Support Services, Kim and her team create beneficial and engaging opportunities for everyone, with a focus on including people with developmental differences from our community. Branching Out is just over a month old, but they have big plans, and are growing at a fast pace. They’ve already started up an amazing day program, which emphasizes a wide variety of skill-building with the intent of preparing their participants for successful and happy lives with us in our community. In addition to this, Branching Out has a bunch of other things going on that we can all take part in, including bowling get togethers, movie nights, and mentoring groups. We’re excited to see what’s in store for Branching Out’s future in our community, given their intentions and what they have have accomplished already.
