The talented pool of Alaskan hockey coaches continues to breed the next generation. After many years of tutelage from some of the best, Nick Walters takes over behind the bench of the Anchorage Wolverines for the 2023-2024 season. Nick has assisted under Rodney Wild (CHS), Matt Curley (UAA) and Evan Trupp (Wolverines). His service under Matt Thomas (UAA) as Director of Hockey Operations and two years with Joel Johnson (USA Hockey) as a Video Coach further increased his development and accent up the coaching ladder. He now blends all of his experience of X’s and O’s, management, recruiting and leader of young men to stand center stage behind the bench at Ben Boeke and in arenas across the county in the NAHL.
