On Today's show, we discuss… 1.27 PPP-C. (Personality-Perspective-Purse-Candor). The nature of a good employee, teammate or team member that is hard to find. Can you determine the measure of how the Triple P-C speaks to you as a worker? Do you demand a salary that is not commensurate with your creativity, personality or work-ethic? Today, I discuss what these four aspects mean to me and give examples.

Question of the week: How does the perspective or personality of an interviewee affect your decision-making as the person doing the hiring?

  1. Purse – A sum of money given as a prize in a sporting contest, especially a boxing match.
  2. Penultimate – Next to the last in a series of events.
  3. Candor – The quality of being open and honest in expression; frankness.
  4. Galvanize – Being aware and informed about something.
  5. Resilient – Able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.
  6. Cower – Yield or crouch down in fear.
  7. Insurmountable – Too great to be defeated or overcome.
  8. Rote – Mechanical or habitual repetition of something to be learned.
  9. Proficient – Vain and self-centered.
  10. Grit – Courage and resolve; strength of character.
  11. Naive – Showing a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment.
  12. Dividends – A benefit from an action or policy.
  13. Quantitative – Relating to, measuring, or measured by the quantity of something rather than its quality.
  14. Anecdotal Evidence – Evidence collected in a casual or informal manner and relying heavily or entirely on personal testimony.
  15. Succinct – Briefly and clearly expressed.
