On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks had simply had enough!  She refused to give up her seat on the bus in Montgomery, Alabama even when the bus driver said he would call the police.  Four days after her arrest she was heading into court through the crowd of supporters gathered.  One young lady started a chant "They've messed with the wrong one now...They've messed with the wrong one now...They've messed with the wrong one now!"  Rosa would become an iconic symbol of the civil rights movement of the 1950s-60s.  It took much SACRIFICE to keep up the non-violent protests through the years.  Rosa''s gentle courage to help African Americans gain and exercise their rights, and her devotion to advance social integrity to benefit all Americans makes her a HOSS indeed!
