0:13
Here we go. This is done over at Wild nine by five.
0:29
iHeartMedia. We are at Three Points Music Festival twenty twenty three in Miami,
0:34
and I'm here with the poodle. How is it going? It's going great.
0:38
I just got off the ground central stage. I played a really job
0:42
set during the sunset was magical and welcome to Three Points. First off,
0:46
how does it feel being here being from you know, South Florida. Oh,
0:52
that's a lot of question. Being from South Florida is wow. Just
0:58
such a mix of everything thing like the chaos with the quiet serene moments as
1:03
well, beautiful colors, amazing textures, amazing communities and people from all over
1:11
that's South Florida. Yeah, it's a vibe. Yeah literally, all right,
1:17
you did already imagine you just played the grand Central stage earlier and that
1:19
must have been a you know, a thrill. Yeah, it was really
1:23
awesome. It was a great stage. I love the location. It's in
1:26
the trees, it's more it feels more intimate to me and it has great
1:30
sound. There's not a lot of other stages conflicting with it, so I
1:34
recommend going there check it out. Tell me about your epe opinions from my
1:38
bedroom? Yeah, so that was written literally in my bedroom. I produced
1:42
everything from my studio, and it was I wrote everything during COVID from twenty
1:48
twenty to twenty two, and just all these feelings I had about the world,
1:53
about myself, about like the relationships I was in. Does all of
2:00
that just kind of from a journal standpoint, so very raw, like my
2:05
emotions are there. It's literally, you know, if you want to know
2:07
about me, like, that's what you have to listen to. And that's
2:12
very cool. You know. Was this made during COVID, you know in
2:15
your bedroom? Yeah? Yeah, it was so the whole thing twenty twenty
2:17
through twenty twenty two, all of it in my bedroom. Yeah. And
2:22
how how was COVID for you to experience? How is what COVID? Oh?
2:28
Yeah, I mean like it like for all of us, it really
2:32
took us out, really, especially as life artists, as people who are
2:36
so social where we feed off the energy of like the night life, being
2:42
together. There's no way to produce art without a team or like people around
2:46
you, and it really took us all out, but I think it also
2:51
had beautiful moments of slowing down and introspection and rewiring and resetting that was necessary.
2:58
I think. Very cool. You know, everyone's made through, were
3:00
thriving now at least you know we got events, which is nice to have
3:04
again. And tell me about your recently released song, Heavyweight Champion. Oh,
3:08
yeah, that one. We just released a music video. Well,
3:12
I just released a music video just me and my multiple personalities, you know,
3:16
but just released it a few like a month ago at this point.
3:22
I filmed it earlier this year in Berlin when I went and I did a
3:27
DJ set at Refuge Worldwide, and then I also filmed with my friend out
3:30
there who's a great filmmaker, Lena Wavy Films. Check her out. And
3:37
it was it the whole the singles about kind of fighting with yourself, your
3:42
ego and how that also uh projects to other people and what they fight you
3:50
back with kind of like that play so and it beats you up if you're
3:55
not careful. So it's about that. Yeah, okay, okay, And
4:00
do you have any new projects you're working on? Yeah, I'm working on
4:02
two singles and uh also the visuals for that. And then I'm working on
4:08
a more electronic, like more refined sophomore EP or album and so I'm really
4:15
excited. That's a big, big word album. You know, all these
4:18
days people don't be dropping albums, but I think I want that. I
4:21
want something that you could sit in it more Yeah, textures and instrumentals.
4:28
And then but also still on my pop star shit you know, okay,
4:32
okay? And are you looking to stay independent? I'm I mean also a
4:40
loaded question. I'm I'm open to owning everything you know of myself, and
4:48
but I also I would like to I'm not not open to what I guess
4:57
opportunities could bring with me if I find a partnership or collaboration and what that
5:01
could bring for me on the lovelod want to create as well, because I
5:05
need I do need that. If i'm you know, I want to go
5:09
where I want to actually go in my head, then yeah, I do
5:12
need the support, So I need the push yep. Already I have two
5:16
questions left, name and artists you want to work with, but haven't yet
5:19
any artists I'd want to work with. Oh, definitely, Seth de Lisa
5:26
FK, Twigs, James Blake, Eves Tumor is my homie already, so
5:31
like I would love to work with them if they're open to it. And
5:36
earth Eater. Yeah, and my last question I asked every artist this,
5:43
no matter what, what does your artist writer include because this could be every
5:46
artist has a different writer. You know. I've had people say that they
5:50
had a picture of their dog made and then that's what they wanted, or
5:55
they had just different drinks and stuff like that. What do you need?
5:58
Do you need a salad? Like I have people that need a salad ready like for them, Well, living in Miami for ten years, of course
6:04
I need my tequila soda with lime a nice period. But I also would
6:11
get tea gender tea for my vocals. I always drink like some good tea
6:15
before like camameal sake. I'm socha a little bit so okay, Yeah,
6:25
sushi would be fired. Yeah all right, yeah that's a new one.
6:29
Sushi for sure, for sure. All right, Well, I want to
6:32
