Joining us today is Patrick McGrath. Paddy is a great friend of the Edufuturists podcast, and has now appeared on more episodes than any other guest. As well as joining us on the show Paddy also led a workshop at the Edufuturists summit this summer and presented one of our awards on behalf of texthelp, the organisation he works for.Patrick is the resident EdTech champion at Texthelp. A passionate educator, Patrick is an accomplished international speaker focusing on engaging sessions on how technology can make a real and meaningful impact on teaching and learning for all. An Apple Education Mentor and Google Certified Educator, Patrick received the UK Digital Leader 100 award in 2016 and is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Ulster. EduFuturists #61 - Zaitoon Bukhari
We are joined on the podcast today by Zaitoon Bukhari, who works at Witton Park Academy in Blackburn. Zaitoon went to the University of Huddersfield and specialised in Human Biology before going on and completing her teacher training at Bradford College. Two years into her teaching, she  re-specialised at the University of Cumbria in Physics - and has taught Physics ever since! Whilst at Witton Park, she has worked as a Second in department in science, pupil premium coordinator and landed her current role as Whole school EdTech co-ordinator a few years ago. Last year she was successful in becoming an SLE (Specialist Leader in Education) in integrating Technology as well becoming a Google Certified Educator, Trainer and Innovator - another LON19 graduate! As a school Witton have secured Google Reference School status and recognised as a top school using technology in the EdTech 50 last year. She tweets  @zbukhari197
EduFuturists #60 - Martin Boehm
Martin Boehm is a marketing professor at IE Business School in Madrid. For the last decade, he has been researching and consulting in the area of customer management. What really interests Professor Boehm from a marketing standpoint is the management of customer relationships in order to increase a firm’s long-term profitability.Martin’s research aims to provide managerial implications on how to build profitable and long-lasting customer relationships. His primary concern is to quantify the impact of various customer management activities on a customer’s lifetime value. He holds a PhD in Marketing from Frankfurt University, an SSP from MIT and an MBA from Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship. Prof Boehm believes that his work on customer relationship management has broad implications for the corporate world and this is the focus of his work in Madrid as Dean of IE Business School.
