I Recorded this episode 3 days away from Thanksgiving. Felt led to just go off the cuff.  Just being real and transparent, while ended with compassion. I know it's been beyond hard this last year, maybe you feel like it's impossible to be thankful right now, I get it I really do.  The truth is you are not alone or stuck. Even if you think you are. Nope, its NOT true. You can choose thankfulness at any time.  Thankfulness and gratitude is a choice. It can even come in the form of something very simple and mundane. Todays episode/song title is "Thank U" by the amazing Alanis Morissette! I had always loved this track from the 90's, and when reviewing the lyrics recently I KNEW I wanted to connect it with a episode. These lyrics describe Ms. Alanis being at at place of clarity and truth. She recalls the things she had experienced along the way. My interpretation is that she is actually  saying thank you because she didn't overcome DISPITE of the hardship, rather BECAUSE of it.  There is a lot of power in this type of mindset and understanding.
