Paul’s authority was challenged in Corinth. The believers cosied up to false teachers who turned them against him. He was disrespected. But he never cursed them.

Even when he was bragging about his ministry in comparison to the false apostles (2 Corinthians 11), winning them back for the Lord was at the forefront of his thinking.

In our anger lets not seek to destroy those for whom Christ died.
