Josh Ciardi has worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry as an analyst and strategist. He has witnessed some mind-blowing advances in medical technology over the last fifteen years but is even more fascinated by ancient methods of healing the mind and body. Josh is in the final semester of a Master's of Public Health at the University of Sydney and believes that health economics helps humans on a massive scale. It all comes down to allocating limited health resources equitably and efficiently, and it's here that Josh reckons traditional healing modalities will play a role. 

In our Empowered Conversation we discuss how both science and spirituality have shaped Josh’s life and how they both play an important role in expanding our growth, understanding and awareness of who we are. We explore why spirituality, along with science, will play an increasing role in public health and touch on how the COVID pandemic will change public health.
