In this week's episode, I share an extremely informative and powerful conversation with one of First Nations woman, Teela Reid. Teela shares how the misinformation she continually received as a child drove her to change her career as a teacher, to becoming a lawyer, so she could help lead the way for change. She also shares some of her incredible family stories of growing up, and also co-creating the Blackfulla Bookclub. In this conversation we are reminded of the power of truth telling, and why education is so important for the generations to come, as they will be the ones to help create change.
