J: Where am I?

Ominous voice: where you always wanted to be. At the cusp. Now with a choice. You have been preoccupied with an internal battle. Now you set your sights to an external war going on around you.

J. How do you always know so much about me ? I thought you were just an echo.

Ominous voice: your asking the wrong questions.

J. Which way do I go?

Ominous voice : Certainty or destiny ? If you choose Certainty you will become nothing extraordinary. A nice comfortable life.

But this choice is for certain that you never reach your destiny, only comfortable stable existence. A blissful ignorance if you will of the standard American consumer/wage slave.

If you choose destiny. Unto the breach we go. You will have to follow me into the breach once more. Can’t you see ? Can you see that’s it’s the only way to destiny. The only way out is through.

Destiny offers no certainty. If anything the odds are against your success. Very likely, that you will fail. Such is the entry price for a shot at destiny. All or nothing. Many took the chance and have failed.

So, what do you choose ?

J. I choose destiny.
