She left a comfortable salaried existence to turn pro 5 years ago, following her passion into Obstacle Course Racing, competing in some of the world’s toughest events all the while building a movement on the side, Dirt in Your Skirt, for aspiring female changemakers who, like her, wanted to go out and make a ruckus.

She also helped found the Spartan Chicked movement with over 15,000 members today. She’s written for Outside and been featured in a half dozen other magazines, is editor in Chief of Mud Run Guide, named One of the 50 Most Influential People in OCR.
