This year's global pandemic has had over-arcing, devastating and lasting effects - on lives, on businesses, on lifestyles and cultures. I have to accept that what I do with An Englishman In San Diego can come off as a bit vacuous in the backdrop of such terrible loss. But how we as cultures celebrate the art and distractions of life, and our ability to do so, define the strength of those cultures - to paraphrase, "If we cannot enjoy life, surely it may not be a life worth living."

But we have to acknowledge the facts that the landscapes of pop culture and fandom have shifted irrevocably and possibly forever. Cinema, television, comics, music and literature and more... the methods of enjoying these, the businesses creating them, the audiences embracing them... it's all shifting on almost a day-to-day basis. And sites like Den Of Geek have to drown out the noise and bring the latest news to an audience still wanting to embrace content that, in some regards, is at a loss. DOG's Editor-In-Chief Mike Cecchini join me to discuss what he feels we could be expecting in the future of pop culture and its reportage...
